this sounds more like a problem with your screen. What did you change in bios that makes you think this is related?
Cant you go into bios and reset all to default?

Please install this one as this is the last official BIOS /and seems old ebough to be the one you had originally/:|PSAA8U

This is BIOS v.6. If this is the BIOS tat you installed and gives the screen error please tell me and I'll try to find an older version.

The link that knotbeerdan gave is really usefull and if the problem won't be fixed by any of the methods you find there then it still could be a faulty VGA. If it is a faulty VGA then you need to buy a new one and replace the old one or if you still have warranty on the machine then take it to the service spot and they'll fix/replace it.

Try pressing the following 2 keys simultaneously- Fn & F5. Do this only once. If this doesn't fix the problem, be sure to hit both of them simultaneously 1 more time to set the machine back in it's original state. What you are doing is switching between the internal monitor and an external monitor, should you ever have a reason to attach one.

Satellite A105 S4054 display problem

Hi, you may need tore-install the video driver. May have been a windows update which messed with the driver.. just a guess. The part of only a portion of the screen being shown indicates that the settings in the bios may have been changed. If that's the case, get back tome. Otherwise, the video card may be crapping out on it. I've had 2 or 3 of these units do that. Good luck Harvester3
