Question about HP Compaq nc6000 Notebook
Hi I have a problem with my HP laptop.
When you power it up you hear the fan kicking in ,and then it cuts out.
Some times it will run untill you sign in then it will cut out on screen,it goes blank, but it will still run on.will not switch off, need to take battory out.
Please could any one HELP SORT THIS OUT ? THANKS.
I understand your Notebook is not powering ON. You can perform power drain to resolve the issue.
1) Perform power drain. Follow below steps for Power drain.
a) Shut down the Notebook and remove the battery completely from the Notebook.
b) Press and hold the Power button for 30-50 seconds.( This will discharge any static electricity in the picture tube)..
c) Connect the battery and switch on the Notebook.
If the problem still persists log on to HP.com 24X7 chat support by clicking the below link or pasting it in the address bar of a web browser.
