Question about HP Printers & Copiers

Can not print when connected to internet,ie emails ect,ok besides

Bought 16 feb today , spanish vista windows CDno instructions in english, only in 8 other languages,HPdeskjet F2280 all in one says on printer. but F2200 all in one series stated on booklets and cd . can print off pics ok and print documents. but refuses when on internet , not now if im missing something, thanks

Hp2410 prints script instead of web page or email when on line using internet explorer8


Hi ,

If the operating system is xp or vista then you need to go to control panel for xp and then click on add remove programs ?check the box that says show updates ?look for IE 8 or internet explorer 8 and remove it ?For vista go to programe and features and then click on view installed updates ?look for IE 8 uninstall it and if ur not able to then follow the document for XP and VISTA to remove it using command http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957700
After removing it restart the computer ?it run an update and then check with the print ...

Printer screen is in spanish not english


Check the settings in your printer program ... control panel - printer - select yours and look among the tabs for the solution to your problem

MAYBE, you have a Spanish print driver ... In that case, go to the manufacturer web site and find the English version.

My hp 2015dn printer will not print.

I've spent countless hours trying to install new hardware by going on line but I eventually solve the problem when I break down and call the 24 HOUR NUMBER!

Not printing


First try a "hard restart", which simply means unplugging the power cord of the printer,then replugging it after a few seconds have passed. If that does not work, then rerun the CD used to install the printer.
Also, by typing " ONLINE LANGUAGE TRANSLATION" into the Google searchbox, you will have your choice of several websites which translate Spanish into English for free. PIck a website which translates whole paragraphs at a time, rather than a website which only translates a few words at a time. I have personally found that some websites are easier to use than others, so it pays to shop around.

Epson printer and windows vista wont talk to each other


Windows Vista should automatically detect and install devices attached to the computer. Simply connect the printer to your computer and power it on.
If the driver does not automatically install, you can follow the steps below to install a resident driver which is part of Windows Vista. The resident driver installation should only be used if the printer is not detected and installed.
1. Click on START, CONTROL PANEL and PRINTERS.
2. Click the ADD PRINTER button. If you do not see ADD PRINTER, right-click in the PRINTERS window and select ADD PRINTER from the menu.
3. The ADD PRINTER wizard window will appear select Add a Local Printer.
4. Select the port the printer is connected to from the drop down window beside Use an Existing Port, click NEXT.
5. In the next window select EPSON under Manufacturers and your printer model under Printers.
6. In the Type a Printer Name window, Set as Default is automatically selected. If you, have another printer that will be the default simply remove the check and click NEXT to install the driver.
7. Ensure the printer is directly connected to the computer and that the printer is ready to print. Click PRINT TEST PAGE to test the printer.
8. Once the test page has printed, click FINISH to exit the wizard.
*NOTE:
-Depending on your system the computer may ask for your Windows disk, if so insert your Windows CD into your CD-ROM drive and click OK.
-As the driver is part of Windows Vista, there is no Status Monitor available for your printer. Some printers may have an INK LEVELS options included as part of the resident driver. Otherwise, the printer does have its own indicators. The RED error light will flash when the printer is low on ink and go solid when it is out.
-If the ink levels do not appear, click GET INK LEVELS from the MAIN tab of the printer driver. Ensure the printer is directly connected to the computer as the Ink Levels does rely on full bidirectional communication.

HP PSC 1315 All-in-one


I was able to finally fix this problem by opening IE 7, going to Tools, Internet Options, Security tab, and unchecking the box before Enable Protected Mode, click apply and ok.

Hard to believe that this one box unchecked fixed hours of installing and uninstalling over and over along with hours with HP Help Support, reading webpages and researching.

Wish I knew it was this simple before all that!!!

<<I'm still having problems with HP PSC 1315 All in one (OS is Vista). I can print from email and the hard drive but not from the internet (IE 7). I have tried the Smart Web Printing and it didn't work. I have been in contact with HP help support, Session ID: 10011011212339677147. I have uninstalled the software/drivers (again) and reinstalled it from the email instructions/link emailed from the HP support. The same problem exists as before.

Hoping to fix this today...been working on it for days!

I have a lexmart x74-x75 printer. I bought it in Feb 20,2004. I bought a new pc tower and it has windows vista installed. I downloaded it into my tower. It didn't download the software. I can't uninstall...


I put it back to the pc that had windows xp and i am going to buy a new printer today that will work with windows vista. thanks for your concern. John

Oki C5150 printer menu is part english part spanish. It comes up in english when you click print but all the other pages are in spanish(?)



How To:
Uninstall a Spanish or Portuguese driver and install the English version when Windows XP installs the incorrect language, where either a couple of the tabs are in the wrong language, or everything is incorrect.


Action:

IMPORTANT NOTE: THE PRINTER MUST BE TURNED OFF DURING THIS PROCEDURE OTHERWISE WINDOWS WILL AUTOMATICALLY INSTALL THE SPANISH OR PORTUGUESE DRIVER AGAIN. DO NOT USE PLUG 'N PLAY FOR DRIVER INSTALLATION.

1. Delete the Driver Icon from the Printers and Faxes Window.

IMPORTANT STEP:
2. Reboot the PC

3. Click on File --> Print Server Properties

5. Click on the Drivers Tab.

6. Highlight the driver being deleted (C5200n shown as a reference below), and click on Remove.

7. Reboot the PC

8. Go back into the Server Properties Drivers Tab (as shown above), and click on the Add... button.

9. On the first screen click on Next.

10. On the Printer Driver Selection Screen, click on Have Disk.

11. Browse to the location of the English driver that is to be installed and click on OK (Note, the C5200n printer is being used as a reference and the driver being installed is from the CD).

13. The next window Will show the version of the driver being installed, DO NOT click on any of the unchecked boxes and just click on Next.

15. Finally, turn on the printer. Windows XP will automatically find the printer and install the English version of the driver.
