SOURCE: can you charge a canon powershot 1100 via usb?

No you can't. It's simply not possible. You need to have the battery recharger or the battery kit. That is the only way.

Canon powershot sd 750 not turning on after few years of no use

Simplest answer is to replace the battery. If it hasn't been used or charged for so long the battery will be considered 'Old' so it will not hold charge. I think the higher quality brand name batteries for it are usually a reasonable price and not expensive.

I have a Canon power shot sd 4500 is. I have had it for 7 months. I charged the battery and the charged showed green. When I put the battery back in the camera, the camera would not come on. KD

If the camera is only 7 months old then call Canon or go through their website for a warranty repair. 1-800-OK-CANON or usa.canon.com

The problem sounds like the fuse has been shorted, and the mainboard will have to be replaced. Many new Canon SD series cameras they do not fix, they just send you a replacement instead. I'm not sure if the 4500 is on this list, but the SD3500 is for sure.

Hope this helps!

No. The NB-5L battery pack must be charged using the CB-2LX or CB-2LXE charger or compatible.

The camera's clock battery has worn out. Unfortunately, on most Canon SD series, this battery is not user serviceable. Recommend contacting Canon to see if they'll replace it, hopefully at a reasonable cost. 1-800-OK-CANON

How do you recharge the battery on the power shot sd 1100?

A quick look on Cnet reviews says the specs for battery and power are:

Power
  • Power Device Battery charger - External
Battery
  • Supported Battery Canon NB-4L
  • Supported Battery 1 x Canon NB-4L Li-ion rechargeable battery ( Included )
An NB-4L battery charger is what you need to charge the battery for that model. My Canon charger is a small box with fold out wall socket prongs and a mount for my battery to slip into.

This looks like a Generic version sold on eBay, that includs a Euro/mexico Socket adapter.

Mini sd card stuck

i would say get a pair of twezzers and try and pull it out, if not turn it on its front and hang it off the end of a table and try and pick it out,

this has happen a few times but it is not Canon fault as its does not take those cards.

i would try and get it your self.

only thing you can do!
