Question about Epson Perfection 4870 PRO Flatbed Scanner
Scanning a few slides in professional mode using document type film, all going fine. Epson Scan then switched document type to reflective and now film option is greyed out. Did something fail in the scanner here?
Close Epson Scan, unplug the TPU, plug it in, turn off the scanner, turn it on, reopen Epson Scan.

I had this problem, turned out the cable between the lid and the main chassis of the scanner had pulled out slightly. Plug it in and problem solved.

SOURCE: scanning 110 negative film
I just finished scanning many 110 film strips. You need to lay the strip along the inside edge of slot A and scan in normal preview mode. On the preview strip, put a marquee around each individual photo and scan each one separately. Worked fine for me.
