Clothes not drying in condenser tumbler dryer

I have a Miele T358C drier. It takes hours to dry clothes and things like towels can take all night. I don't know if this can be fixed or is it due to the age of the machine.

Sounds like your heating element is burned out (acually burned threw) I can walk threw it with you if you like.First find a replacement element.Everytime you turn it on the element gets weak from contraction and expansion.

Hope this helped.Let me know by rating me or

How can I reduce the humidity of the air expelled from the dryer?

If the aire being expelled is humid then this suggests that the unit if working fine. if clothes are still damp then maybe give them a second spin before putting in the drier, or dry them for longer. Also try putting less in the drier and drying in two loads.

Indesit widl126 does not dry

Had the same problem, very hot but wet clothes. This is a condensor drier. The fack that the clothes are hot rules out the heater or its control. If yoy hear the fan running and there is no blockage the fault is caused by the 3 stage water valve. During drying a small amount of water is passed through a condensor chamber, the cold water causes steam the condense backi into water then is pumped out through the drain. If the water valve fails no condensing takes place and the clothes remain wet. The valve is easy to change and costs about 15 pounds.

I have an indesit widxl146 washer drier and the machine takes an age to dry clothes, 9 hours as oppose to 2 hours when new

9 Hours!!! I hope it isn't because the clothes are too wet because if it is I wouldn't like your electricity bill!!
There are a number of things you need to check.
I assume that you are not overloading the machine, and that you are using the correct spin cycle
Don't start the drying cycle directly after the wash, take out the clothes and see how dry they are after the wash, you need to ascertain if it is spinning the load sufficiently fast to dry them. How dry are they directly after the spin? If they are not wetter than they should be then the dryer is not getting hot enough during the drying cycle, this could be due to a faulty thermostat or element.
Make sure all the filters are clean including the pre chamber down below so that it can pump out the water (I guess it must be clear if it is washing ok? but check anyway.
The principal parts involved, assuming that
Also check that you haven't got a delay set for the dryer (unlikely I know but I thought I would mention it anyway)
I hope that helps.

I have an IDC75 condenser dryer. Everytime i press the start button to start drying my clothes, it will not allow me to start it and immediatley shuts off the electricity in the whole kitchen. PLEASE,...

the culprit seems to be the CONDENSER BOX. This can quickly get blocked up by soggy wet lint/fluff debris from clothes. Some clothes shed more than others, so it is best to check this frequently. What happens is that when the CONDENSER BOX gets partially blocked up, it fails to condense the steamy moist air into water efficiently, and the insides of the drier start to get damp ans steamy. Depending on the amount of moisture, and the make (Some Zanussi and Hotpoint driers may be vulnerable to this), if any vulnerable electrical part get too damp, then there will be a "flash-over" between a live component and neutral or earth (usually a part connected to the casework). This can cause the kitchen circuit breaker to trip. The fix: remove your condenser box, and give it a good spray clean in the garden with your garden hose. Any large lumps of fluff/lint that are stubborn can be pushed out from between the condenser slots with a plastic ruler. Allow to dry. Then , with power removed from the drier, use a good flashlight checking that there has not been any build-up of fluff behind the condenser box area at the rear. You may need to remove the water tank as well to see more clearly. It is worthwhile also checking the little buffer-tank at the back, where there is a level sensor switch for the water tank level. If it is full of gungy water and lint, try to give it a clean out. Give your machine an hour or 2 to dry out internally a bit before attempting to dry any clothes, in case the breaker goes again. If it DOES go again, try leaving it for linger. If it still fails after being left for 24 hours, there may be a more permanent fault, inside the top back of the dryer there should be a wiring diagram(might be on the back panel of dryer) you will need to trace wires and with multimeter try to figure out what is causing the short. Hope this helps Tim

It could be the tumbler. Also check the vent coming from the back of the dryer (make sure it is not clogged)

Miele T358C dryer. water not being pumped out of the sump??

TRY THIS:
TRY THIS:
In some cases cleaning the condenser out and drying the unit well will allow the unit to function again. Once a month you need to empty the condenser unit, it is normal for there to be some water in the tubes when you do this, you then have to flush the condenser by pouring water through it in either your sink or tub. Make sure that there is plenty of room around the drier for air circulation; and empty the water container often or reconfigure your pluming arangement to reduce the water left in the container. The circuitry of this unit it sensitive to high humidity and can cause the unit to not function properly. So with condensing dryers you have to work on keeping them clean. Let me know how it goes. Later :?) DRRXR

TIP OF THE DAY--
To reduce the suction draft and drying time your drier and save some cash, remove the lint catcher and take it to the sink. Run water into it, if there is excessive pooling of the water (water not running straight through) then fabric softener is fouling the lint screen. Use a small brush and dish detergent to clean it and then shake off all the water and dry the screen. Remember this tip on future driers and you will make the dryer blower motor last much longer.

Dryer heats up but isn't drying properly

yes it does something is blocking your vent either its all coiled up behind the drier or something i need to ask a few questions go out side and look at where your drier vent has a hood make sure nothing is blocking it from opening it has a little round door on it ive seen some that have little plastic screens on them that gets clogged the screen is there to keep critters from building nests in the vent line then get a flash light and look over the back to see if the vents folded over mashed etc to find out if its a vent problem take your vent loose dry a load and see if it goes back to normal if all that's ok get back to me and we will clean the drier i need to know if your lint screen is on top or in door and your model #
