Closed Caption [CC1] and the 811 HDTV receiver

Hello All,

We've got a hearing impaired individual in our household and have
stumbled upon a problem we'd like your imput on, please.

We've had our 57" Sony HDTV for more than 3 years now. The closed
captioning always worked. When we got the HDTV, we went to the "setup"
menu, chose the "CC1" caption, muted the audio and on came the CC1. It
has now ceased to work with the addition of the "811" HD receiver.

We do have the HDTV hooked up to a 5.1 sound system, but that should
not interfere with the closed captioning, should it?

Regardless whether I use the origional Sony remote or the Dish Network,
we can't seem to restore the captioning.

Can you help us, please?
