Question about Bosch 12" Compound Miter Saw 3912
Our Bosch saw turned on by itself. It was plugged in however no one was near it, there was no power surge, and it hadn't been used in over an hour. We are at a loss on how this could have happened. Both the safety switch and the "on" switch work fine. No problems with the saw prior to this happening. Wondering if this has happened to anyone else?
A ghost in the machine?
That sounds like a good one for Bosch tech support. I've never heard of any saw doing that, and I bet they'd be interested to know about it...
All I can imagine is a short in the switch, some kind of power surge you weren't aware of, or a practical joke.
At any rate: Contact Bosch: http://www.boschtools.com/Service/ContactUs/Pages/default.aspx
