My hp officejet 7410 is in a constant reboot mode and will not end. Even if I leave it alone for two days. Have tried resetting with #3 and #6 and the power on button. Read on some blogs to remove the wireless card. Where in the printer is that ******? Having a hard time cracking the case open.

Re: hp oFFICEjET 7410 Hangs on REBOOT
This problem is getting a lot of coverage in various troubleshooting websites. HP really should own up to it and offer some assistance. Anyway, here's a link to one man's description of the fix... with pictures! The hardest part might be finding a Torx screwdriver to take off the back. Good luck!

Since this happened AFTER a Vista upgrade, I suggest that you look at the printer in the hardware are of Vista.
1. First remove the printer from the group of devices.
2. Reboot with the printer attached.l
If the printer does not automatically reinstall, then manually add it by using the Add Printer selection.
If you have two printers in the list delete them both and then reboot.
Open the printer and pull paper. It might come in pieces then shut down printer to reboot it and that should make the symbol go away and youshould be able to start over. At least when I had a problem thats what fixed it. Hope it helps
Have you try downloading the drivers/software from HP's web site. here is a link to HP 7410 site.
On the bottom of the list is a removal utility. Download and run it, then download the driver/software from the same page.
You may try this solution if the printer can make copies,it has resolved many driver related issues.
