Question about Sony KP-53XBR45 53" Rear Projection Television
This question isn't very specific and I don't have the model number so I apologize for that. A friend of ours has a Sony rear projection tv that the red gun died/doesn't work properly. We were offered to have the TV free if we can fix it. How do you know it IS the red gun and how much do they usually run? Is it even worth fixing or are we better off just buying a brand new tv? Thanks :)
Cost of rebuilt tube is 252.00 and is done in tucker georgia.this was the price qouted 2 yrs ago. But if a shop has good used one ask how much they will fix it for.
