Printer won't print 17''x76'' long Banner on Canvas

Have a 12'' x 66'' banner to print on Epson 4000 Stylus Pro (Roll) from a Mac in InDesign program. I've tried every thing I can think of with settings and document positions and it will only print the first 12'' of the art. I've even tried printing from PDF file and still won't work. Is there a maximum length that can be printed on 49' x 17'' roll canvas?
Please help Dennis Rhoades

I had the same problem. We figured out that, "yes" there is a maximum length. It is somewhere between 40 and 49 inches.

What is the page setup in the Indesign Program?  Sounds like is is trying to print to the standard paper size of 8.5 X 11.  See if the program allows you to change the page set up to 12"X66" to match the banner.
Hope this helps...

If you are running the drivers included in the Mac OSX, you won't have levels. These are generic/running drivers only.
Hit this Epson site for current drivers.

Emac can't see Epson tx100 printer

Hi there,

You should verify that your eMac has USB 2.0. If you go to the apple symbol on the top left hand corner. Click on About this Mac and go into your system profiler you can see what USB the computer has. Many of the eMac only came with USB 1.1 as this was the protocal of the time.

Hope this helps.

Mac leopard -epson tx400 - printer grabs paper - printer very noisy, desk shakes with vibration - now the print on paper is faded help!!

Hello, sorry to hear you are having trouble,
So, are we to understand that your printer did not shake with vibrations and make a lot of noise before ?
Most of these ink jet printers have heads that travel very quickly and abruptly from side to side causing shaking and vibrations, especially if it is on a light weight desk or table, sometimes to the point of almost throwing itself right off the table. This is a normal state for the printer to be in.
Then, you say the paper is printed on, it goes right through to the end, no paper jam, but the colors are faded...
How often do you print on this printer ? Sometimes, the Epson print head dry up and only small amounts of ink get through even though the system indicates that the ink is full...
You can certainly perform a head cleaning operation, I recommend doing it several (3) times to be sure, unfortunately, it's a terrible wast of ink.
Finally, have you replace the ink cartridges? If you get a faded output with new cartridges, you may have inadvertently activated the ink saving or draft mode, go through you page set-up or printer option thoroughly.
I'm pretty sure something here will get you out of this mess.
