Question about Dell Inspiron 1501 Notebook

1 Answer

Dell inspiron 1501 display almost blank

The display just went blank and it's out of warranty. If I shine a strong light on to it I can just about make out the display. I connected an external monitor and everything seems normal. Screen brightness is up full. ATI Radeon Xpress display adapter drivers are up to date so it looks like the screen itself is faulty. Help appreciated.

Try changing the memory stick, if still doesnt work, it means the invertor of the screen is gone.

Blank screen

If, when it does start and you see normal screens your version of Windows is probably corrupt or you have some type of virus. I would recommend wiping your hard drive and reinstall Windows.
