Toss it, and get another unless you want rabies.

Otherwise, if you have to keep it, un-plug it, remove the bottom or cover and fish him out. Make sure you disinfect it properly.

How do I clean inside the toaster? Not just the trays below but actually within?

You can't clean the inside without a real possibility of damaging the element(s). Hold it upside down over the sink or outside and shake to remove all the stubborn bits. If you poke around inside you will most likely damage it. If you decide to ignore my advice then don't forget to DISCONNECT it first or you risk electric shock!

I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

Krupa fep2 toaster... Was working fine ...but now, no power indicating and lever won't stay drown nor turn on heat?

Make sure the socket you are plugging into is working by plugging in another appliance or radio etc. Check the fuse in the plug if it has one, this is the most likely problem, if it is ok you will need to do continuity checks from the plug through to the insides of the toaster to check if it is the switch or thermal fuse inside the toaster.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

Dualit lite 4 slice not working

It can be repaired. There is a short circuit inside may be of dust gathering on contacts or the contacts are worn out due to prolonged use thus touching the heating coil or body some where inside. Smell coming is definitely burning of wires inside. Open the toaster and you may be able to see the burning spot

I have not recieved a instruction manual with my egg and toater

I could not locate the manual for your unit but I did find some very useful information that will help you use your egg and toaster.

Here is a site that best describes your unit CLICK HERE

Here is a good YouTube Video showing how to use your unit CLICK HERE

I hope this helps and good luck. It looks like a great unit, I might just have to go out and get one myself!

I have a pink two slicer kitchen aide Toaster. The button to pull down the bread to toast will not stay on. Where can I order/buy a new pink one? thanks kathie

Before tossing out the toaster, check on the inside of the toaster, you may have a wire bread closure in there that is blocking the lever.

I took my son's toaster apart when they replaced it, and found a bread closure inside it, blocking the lever. Anything small enough to fall inside could do this too. (The toaster works fine now, and I use it myself!)

Make sure you unplug the toaster first, you don't want to have a "shocking" experience.

Turn the toaster upside down and shake it a few times, over the kitchen sink, and then open and clean the "crumb" compartment.

Sorry to tell you this, but, your toaster is no longer available on the market, you might want to check a few thrift shops in your area...or you can check this link for another model that is pink and a KitchenAid.

Toaster does not engage properly, and sometimes not at all.

You can fix this but you must do so with extreme care. I am presuming this is a mechanical catch.

The catch acts in a manner similar to that of a mouse trap. You must remove the cover which will expose you to dangerous electric voltages and dangerous heater elements. Examine the catch and bend the linkage to suit your needs. Plug it in and test it. Contiunue this process until you are satisfied with the operation.

Be careful!!!!!

(((You may be better off with a new toaster)))

I hope this helps you

The two inside elements do not toast. The outside

You either have a stuck/defective bagel button, which turns off two elements; the elements have a break in them; or there is a wire broke or loose on the inside elements.

If you can use a multimeter, you can unplug the toaster and remove the case and check for all of these conditions. At each end of the toasting element, check for continuity, if OK, then check the bagel button to see if it is working correctly, again with the continuity check.

Check all connections to make sure none have burned off at the wire/connector points, and finally, check the thermal fuse to see if it might have failed.

Other than that, there isn't much else to check.

Hope you found this Very Helpful - Best regards!

Broken metal lever arm for 3/4 slice switch

Further to my post of an hour or so ago, I realised that 20 gauge is close to 0.8mm which is a standard size for Stainless Steel MIG welding wire.(Some MIG machines use 0.9 ) As I have some 0.8 I have now mended my toater in that respect and it works OK. It was easy to shape the wire which is not critical. It may not be quite so springy but its hard to tell the difference. I suspect 0.9mm MIG wire would be even better.
Unfortunately I have another problem. Hey ho.

Tfal 2-slice toaster repair

look inside your toaster. there must be something inside it turn it down and see if something comes out.. if nothing is inside then try to see if the cord that you switched on is not broken. if you see a liitle bit scratch mark on it- switch off. You can get a electric shock. it is your favorite toaster so try to consult a electricion to fix the cord for you.
