First thing is you can try to detect your pen drives with Linux.
(DSL Linux is just about 50 MB download. You'll need to burn it on to a CD as an IMAGE and not copy on the CD directly, then boot with the CD.It will automatically mount your USB drive and you can cpy the data to your hard disk and later format the USB drive.)

3.- Te Aparece un mensaje: (Please insert device or run this utility as privileged user) en este momento debes insertar el Pen en el puerto USB que lo configurastes, es decir cuando le pusistes la contraseña con el LOCKv116. 3. - We got a message: (Please insert device or run this utility as privileged user) at the moment you must insert the pen into the USB port which configurastes, that is when you purists password with LOCKv116.
4.- Ahora te aparece la ventana observando que tienes 3 botones: LLave, Candado Cerrado y Candado Abierto), Haz Click en el de abajo: (Candado Abierto) 4. - Now you see the window noting that within 3 buttons: Key, Lock Closed and Open Lock), click on the below: (Open Lock)
5.- Introduce tu contraseña y Espera hasta que te aparezca la ultima ventana que dice: (The Secured Partion of the USB Pocket Drive is now accesible. Safely removi.....etc.) haz Click en el unico boton Verde que te queda. 5. - Enter your password and you wait until the last window appears that says: (The Secured Portion of the USB Pocket Drive is now accessible. NOTA: Al Expulsar el Pen automaticamente se vuelve a bloquear, yo lo considero muy buena esta llave por lo que si se llegara a extraviar el Pen nadie puede abrirlo ni formatearlo. NOTE: U has only 6 times to give correct password. Don’t try give correct password within 3 times.

hello, i have a Kingston 2GB Pendrive.I had run a program "LOCKv116.exe" on my pendrive and set password on it, but now after inserting pendrive to my pc, it is detected but when open it this message appears "please insert a disk into drive G:" If try to format it message is "There is no disk in drive G:"..If I run the program LOCKv16.exe it shows a message "please insert the device or run this utility as previledged user."
It is true that locking mobile storage devices, such as USB drives, with Imation Lock is an excellent way to protect your data.
However, using Imation Lock with a Kingston USB drive can create problems.
Learn how to unlock your Kingston USB drive so you can use it once again.
Ensure that your Kingston USB drive has been removed from your computer's USB port.
Start the Imation Lock software by double clicking the Imation Lock.
Plug in the Kingston USB into a USB port immediately after the "Please Insert the Device or Run This Utility as Privileged User" message appears.
Access your Kingston USB drive by clicking Start > Computer.
Double click on the device.
Start the Imation Lock software again by double clicking the Imation Lock.
Disable the password protection by clicking the open lock icon.

If you have password protected a USB drive or partition on your computer and have since forgotten the password, you will need to completely erase the drive.
Erasing and reformatting the drive will remove any password protection, software and data on the drive preventing you from accessing the drive.
The process is simple using Window's Disk Management utility.
Log into the computer as the administrator.
Open the Windows Start menu, select "Run," type "Compmgmt.msc" and click "OK." In Windows Vista and Windows 7, simply type the command into the "Search" field.
Select "Disk Management."
Locate the password-protected drive.
Right-click it and select "Delete." Confirm the action.
The drive will be erased and become unallocated free space.
