When you use the manual lock switch on the vehicle you should see and hear the locks pick. When you use your remote you should also see the same results. If the drivers door does not respond with either you have a bad solenoid on the drivers door.

2006 buick alarm can not be shut off.....

After the key is put into what? The OEM alarm is armed and disarmed through the driver's door key cylinder. Insert the key into the key hole of the driver's door, turn to unlock, this disarms the factory alarm. Turn to lock, this arms the factory alarm. Now, if you have an aftermarket alarm this procedure does not apply.

Toyota previa alarm keeps going off and beebing

Try this first before buying a new battery or replacing with a new aftermarker alarm. (1) Make sure all doors are closed completely and locked (2) On the drivers door, use your key to turn LOCK then UNLOCK, Open the door and close then repeat again (3) Proceed to Sliding door and turn UNLOCK - you should hear all doors unlock and you've completed the factory reset. Open driver door and turn ignition, your vehicle should now start.

I need to disable the alarm on my 1998 buick park avenue

The factory disarm wire for this vehicle is in the driver's door. It is light green, located at the module above the speaker and you can test it by turning the key in the driver's door. It will switch to ground when unlocking the door with the key.

My ford mondeo lx petrol 98' alarm goes off, sometimes more than once i have to keep going to the parking lot to open and close the door only for the alarm to stop but after some time it goes off again.

Your problem is most likely the central locking / alram switch fitted aroun the door lock inside the door void. Try using the passenger door to lock / unlock. If this stops the alarm triggering then you need to replace the switch behind the lock in the drivers door.

2002 ford explorer battery died and after jump start it will not start due to something with the security system... the doors lock and unlock and the car makes this loud clicking noise

Sounds like the battery cables need to be cleaned and or maybe thebattery is getting ready to die. Clean the battery terminals then charge the battery. If the terminals get real corroded it is usually indicated by the clicking sound you have described. Hop it helps and good luck.

We locked the trailblazer with the remote entry while the door was open and now the alarm system sounds when we start it up. I can't get it to stop going off

Locking the door(even with the switch) with door open on this vehicle will arm the factory alarm. Use the key cylinder at the driver's door to unlock the vehicle. This will disarm the factory alarm.

Alarm goes off on own

ok this could be a easy fix i had the same problem in my 02 eddie bower explorer there is 2 switches in each door one tells the computer the door is open the other tells the computer to turn on the interior light so if you notice the door ajar light come on or your interior lights stay on for a prolonged period of time then this is for sure your problem this can also be your problem if the switches are just starting to go bad they will randomly pop in and out trust me this is what happened to me the switches are unfortunatly located inside the door now (i miss the door pin switch's) but they are still easy and very inexpensive to replace check your local auto parts store for the do not go to ford as they will charge you an arm and a leg :) good luck my friend

When i lock the doors on a 2002 ford explorer about thirty minutes or so the alarm sounds. even if not activated. the only way it doesnt is when i leave it unlocked. any suggestions?

Check to see if when the alarm goes off if the interior lights are lit. Ford's have a problem at times with the door pinswitch in the door latch leaving the interior lights on, or coming on unexpectedly. Is this a factory installed alarm? WD40 sprayed into the latch will sometimes fix this problem.
