Question about Acer Aspire One Netbook 8.9" Notebook

How do I reply to your question

Am not sure how I am to respond to you, billspeer, as this is the only window I can find. There was no reply button to reply directly to you. I trust you will get this OK.

It is from orr2.This is running on Linx Lite v1.0.7.E and under networks LAN: realtek RTL8102E PCO express fast ethernet controller and wifi: aatheros AR5006EG 802.11 b/g wireless PCI express adapter (rev 01)

There are no yellow circles etc. and in the connection management there is a LAN connection that is set for obtaining an IP address automatically (DHCP) and obtaining the DNS server address automatically (DHCP). The driver is r8101 and the hardware address is 00:1E:68:B1:98:A0

I haven't worked with Linux before and because everything worked OK I didn't have to figure out what is comparable to Windows in setting up the network, etc. It just worked!!!

I used the re-install rescue disk but it did not help (supposedly). I found out from the user that LAN-1 and LAN-2 appeared when he was in the Ivory Coast and he has not been able to use the computer since. I deleted both LAN-1 and LAN-2 (I was not sure where those had come from so I had left them in). I made sure there was only LAN-0 and did an "edit" (although it was only going through the process and I checked off everything that was there before). I left the computer turned off overnight (not just a re-start) and I just tried it now and it worked!! Don't know why, but maybe the config done in the Ivory Coast created a problem. Anyway, problem solved!!! Thanks for all your help.

I'm using Windows 7 and Live Mail. I didn't make clear the fact that I not only deleted the messages but I answered yes to "are you sure you want to delete these messages permanently"


Hi Iris:
If you've started a post and want the person who responded to get a reply from you, it's easiest if you reply as a COMMENT on your original post.
- To jump in to your question, if you've emptied the messages from your "deleted" file they are gone. That's as far as I know.

How to reply gmail


To respond messages, click on inbox and open your mail. when you open your mail, you would found a reply button OR reply to All. Click on it and draft your mail. and click on send.

My compute wll not do anything


lemme ask you few questions first ---
1 when you boot up the computer does it responds then ?
2 if yes then whats the first thing you do that makes the windows not responding
and see I guess your PC has malicious applications in it that are making it not to respond
i recommend you trying [Malware bytes antivirus ] and scanning the whole of your computer with it
and yeah, if your PC doesn't respond at all then using other pc download a live bootable os named DR web live (for a quick intro its a 300-400mb os) and further using a bootable live usb created by the os insert into your PC suffering from problem and while the pc is starting look for boot menu button (its usuallly F10 or F8) something
and boot via the USB drive . and scan your operating system .
and if the problem still persist then i recommend for a new install of windows .. and make sure you make a backup before any major changes

HOW DO I REPLY TO A TWEET IN TWITTER


Hit the reply button under the trash can next to the specific tweet that you want to respond to and Twitter will automatically populate the text field with the user's screenname so you can reply.

Hi,
click on reply button and you will be shown the mail you are responding to and prompted to enter your response where the cursor blinks. When done typing, press enter.

Push and H O L D the power button for 10-30sec. That works on Gateways might for you too.. then you can always find and press (gently) the teeny, tiny reset button located somewhere on the bottom of the LT

Another possibility... Change the CMOS Coincell under the keyb. It might 'kick' the MB into action and cannot b/c it is dead

Will not turn on at all


When you pres the power button does the power light blink? or does the light not come on? Please respond to this same post when replying and I will try to assist you.

Computer not responding


I used to have the same problem... Have you got any e.g customization packs installed, because if you have then theres a chance you will need to uninstall that.

Reply back if it still doesnt work.
