My Toshiba Satellite A215 message Toshiba Flash card not working.

I need the Toshiba flash card to work because that is how I set up the laptop with the LCD. It opens fine sometimes but with every new update to Windows Vista it stops working and the message comes up again when I start up the computer again. Sometimes I can get it to work by trying to open to program right away on startup: I move my mouse up to the top of the screen repeately on startup to get the Flash Card to open up with the drop down menu. Last time I tried that, it didn't work either. I use this laptop quite often for LCD presentations. I also have a problem with a message "Toshiba flash cards is not working" on my Toshiba Satellite A215.

well, only way is to flash your bios.

it should be bootable flash bios tool that will assist you to remove all the current settings to the original settings. but if you can get the memory flash for toshiba then try running the system in safe mode the see if your usb devices can function then you try booting the system with cd/dvd drive. it should work

Toshiba a205 I let the battery go dead now all it will do is flash the blue light with the cord symbol what's that mean?

It means that there is not enough battery to supply the voltage the laptop needs to start. Simply let it charge overnight and it should be fine in the morning assuming the charger is working properly.

How do i replace the keyboard

1) Buy a new keyboard
2a) Go to a service center and let them do it
2b) follow instructions from here:
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/toshiba-satellite-a215/remove-wireless-card.htm

It's a manual for the wireless card removal, but should work for the keyboard as well.

Toshiba flash cards not working ??

It means what it says. There have been mentioned problems of this. You can disable the flash cards (>Start Menu-->All >Programs-->Toshiba-->Utilities-->Settings for >Flash Cards-->Disable Flash Cards) but you then apparently lose the function keys (therefor cannot change the brightness.) First off though you should perhaps state the model of your laptop. If it is the Toshiba A10/700 then I believe there is a Value Added Pack for download on the Toshiba's Canadian website - but has problems. I have also heard of programs causing such problems, such as Photoshop CS2. Is this message appearing after hibernate? If so what programs do you leave running?
