Theres a part inside that you ave to replace a plastic part you can order somewhere online for about 8 dollars but your goign to have to open the controller up or get somebody to do that for you.

Just take it apart and see if you can tighten it,

if not you will have to pick a new one up

thanks

My on/off switch on my N64 is stuck. Help.

cddHEXIf the on and off button isn't budging then it might be that it is broken or is stuck so to fix this problem you would have to take apart the console in order to disamble a N64 console you need a special screw driver to do that. The nintendo factory had made super NES consoles gamecube and N64 consoles with special screws to prevent unliscenced people to fix theese consoles at that time. 6 special screws to remove. Hexogon screws. Or try using WD40 on the on and off button to see if that will work too. 10 STARS IF THIS IDEA WORKS.

My joystick on my n64 controller is loose . on my legend of zelda ocerina of time my person is walking slowly can u help me fix my controller.

The Nintendo 64 was probably the first system to introduce the Analog Joystick. The joystick unfortunately does wear out after a while. I have seen repair sticks available on the internet, but that would require opening your N64 controller to replace this part. OR you can simply buy a new controller. The following website sells them for around $17 free shipping:

I have a problem with my psp1000.when i remove the joystick and i try to play a game use only a joystick.my character just keep on running in left direction and i cant control it.it's like it has a mind of...

The reason your character is moving by itself is your joystick malfunctioning. This is due to long playtime and hard pressing of joystick. It could also be that it has dust in it that's why it's malfunctioning. If it is still under warranty why don't you bring it to the nearest shop and let them fix it for you. You can also clean your joystick first from any dust and check if it solved your problem. Try watching this for your guide in cleaning the joystick of your psp. Be very careful in doing this or it might make your problem worse. If you want you can replace your joystick, I have checked it ebay and the price range from $2 - $3..
I hope this helps. Have a nice day!

Well it might be the memcart on the system went bad then or its possible that the on and off switch could be loose then. So to fix the on & off button you need to attach duc tape or gum to the inside
were the power btton lives on the inside part of the n64 consoles.

N64 wont turn on... i miss it

Had the same problems.. the n64 just turned off after playing dr. mario for a few minutes... anyways, heres what worked for me

1. make sure your wall outlet works *sounds dumb, but better safe then sorry, plug in a light or something to make sure it works*

2. unplug EVERYTHING, controllers, vid cord, power etc

3. let everything be disconnected for about a minute or so, the AC adapter sometimes overheats and turns it self off which might be the problem.

4. ONLY plug in the AC adapter to the n64, make sure its firmly plugged in. turn it on.. it should light up now, if so, plug everything back in. enjoy :)

Convert it? Theres no way to convert it. Either the game(s) you have use the D-pad or not. Some though use both pads.
