Question about GE WSM2700D Top Load Stacked Washer / Dryer
It only does it when the spin cycle is on, and is so loud my son thinks a garbage truck is in the house!!
please help me fix this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Remove front panel.
u will see 3 or 4 bracket's with 2 springs attached. There should be a bolt at the top of each bracket attaching outer tub to bracket. If one is missing (which it probably is) look around in bottom of washer & locate it. All these bolts have to be very tight & this unit is bad about bolts backing out on their own.

Hello uucyc1 - From what you have described it sounds like you either have a problem with the washer tub bearing, belt, motor or trunnion (steel bar that secures the inner basket to the transmission shaft). As far as the dryer, long dry times typically are a result of poor air flow. Make sure that the dryer exhaust vent is completely clear and that the unit is not overloaded. I would suggest contacting an experiencing service technician to determine the precise cause to both units.
