Is there anyway to remove scratches from inside glass on inside oven door of a Wolf?

Accidentally used wrong blade to scrape glass off of inside oven door. Is there any product that will remove scratches or is it possible to get a replacement piece of glass? Thank you!

There isn't any safe way to sand down glass by yourself. If the scratch is really bad, I suggest contacting Wolf for a replacement glass. Here is their site for replacement accessories.

How to remove silicone from glass?

Hi, you need windex and new razor blades.Spray with windex where the silicone is and clean it with the blade.Based on how big is the area that you clean you might have to change the blade few times.
Its important to go with the blade only in one direction not back and fort so you dont scratch the glass.
I hope that helps.

How can I remove the scratches from my glass coffee table?

Unfortunately, there is no safe way to remove scratches from glass. I don't recommend trying anything at home because you could make it much worse. If you are bent on keeping the table I suggest taking it to glassworker to see if he can sand it down with special tools.

I have only used my large oven three times and already the inside glass is brown. I have removed it but failed to clean it using all the regular cleaning materials. Can you suggest any way of cleaning...

Use a Stanley (or similar brand) window scraper. Hold it firmly and always flat against the glass and scrape that browm muck away. Be careful not to let the points on either side of the blade to dig in as this will scratch the glass.

This type of cleaning is carried out on ceramic/halogen hobs so is ok to use on interior slass oven doors.

Hope this helps

razor blade, get an old school razor blade and the flatter you scrape it the better the result, its like shaving glass and it doesnt scratch, and if youre really cool use glass cleaner while you do it and its super smooth.....just wipe it when youre done,I used to scrape stickers off car doors from the nursing service, vary carefully this way and it didnt scratch....just remember keep blade as flat as possible

Scratches

a ceramic cooktop cleaner , adn a terrycloth towels, working in small circular motins you should be able to "lessen" the visiblity of the scratches, probly no t remove all together but lessen them anyway. watch the pots your using, no glass or ceramic pans, they will scratch every time and try to llift the pot to remove it and resist the temptation to slide and twist pot during operation

We have a ge self-cleaning radiant range. I accidently spilled hot grease from steaks when I was removing them from the broiler. The grease dripped down inside the glass on the front of the oven. Is...

If you are saying that the grease got in between the layers of glass (lamination), then you will have to disassemble the door, clean the glass, and reassemble. I haven't done this job on your particular model, but have on others and it is a tedious & time consuming task.

If though the grease is just cooked onto the inner surface of the glass on the oven door, you could use a single edge razor to scrape the gunk off (being extremely careful not to flip the blade causing you injury), as you would ice off a windshield with an ice scraper. There are handles made to keep the blade secured while using it (making it less likely to flip and injure the user).

Jenn air double ovens

First, with the door closed, find the screws at the bottom of the door and remove. With an assistant, open the door and remove any side and inside screws you find. The door will separate into two halves. Be aware that most glass is not clipped in...they can fall and break. Remove the front panel from the door...the door may try to slam shut. To clean the glass, use a blue cleaner and a scrubby or very fine steel wool rubbing gently. Scratches are not allowed! Take pictures of what you're doing so you can replace. Be careful of brittle door insulation.

Cleaning glass on oven door

The marks may be on the inside part of the glass. If so then the door will need to be taken apart for cleaning. You can use a razor blade scraper and glass cleaner to soften the buildup. Self cleaning won't remove if it is on the inside.
