Question about Thomson 24WK25U 24" TV

My THOMPSON TV won't turn on!!

Whenever I try to turn the TV on, it will make the turning on sound, and flash the orange LED, it then flashes red on the LED for about 7 seconds and then the light goes steady again!

I have a sharp aquos tv model lc-32m400x. When i turn the power on via button at the back the green light comes on for about 10secs then turns to red and flashes about every 11/2 - 2secs. Any ideas.

Sound is pinned at 100% output. Remote nor physical buttons on device are working.


If any of the buttons on the remote or tv work, then try going into the menu and turning the sound down manually.

How to Program


Remotes With SET Button
1. Choose and press a device key i.e TV. LED will flash once.
2. Press "SET" Hold until the LED Lights up.
3. Enter the 4-digit Device code (refer code list).
4. The LED will flash once as each number is programmed at the end of the 4 digit the LED will turn off immediately if correct. If the LED flashes then something went wrong in the process. If the first code does not work then repeat the process with the next.
5. Important - Some brands use other manufacturers to make their devices if the codes available do not work the try the MAGIC search function.

MAGIC SEARCH FUNCTION
1. The magic search function enables you to scroll through the entire code list one by one by pushing the on/off button. Each time you push the on/off button the remote automatically switches to the next code in the list and sends a signal to the device you have chosen.

3. Press and hold the SET button or if no SET button then hold BOTH the CHANNEL UP AND VOLUME DOWN button until the LED Lights up.
4. Enter the 4-digit Device code (refer MAGIC list) i.e TV is 0001.
5. The LED will flash once as each number is programmed at the end of the 4 digit the LED will turn off immediately if correct. If the LED flashes then something went wrong in the process.
6. Start scrolling by pushing the ON/OFF button as soon as your TV or Chosen device turns OFF lock the code in by pushing the DEVICE key again.

How to reset your Set Top Box to fix common problems FiOS TV Residential...
Resetting your Router and Set-Top Box can resolve a variety of issues such as:
  • Missing Interactive Media Guide (IMG) or On Demand menu
  • Unresponsive Set-Top Box
  • DVR recording problems
If you are having any of these issues, you may need to reset your Router and Set-Top Box. Will resetting my Set-Top Box erase the selections I have programmed into my remote?
No, all settings and selections you've entered such as device codes, favorite channels, and recent On Demand selections are saved and available after resetting your Set-Top Box.

Resetting your Router and Set-Top Box
Always reset your Router first and then check to see if that resolves the issue. Resetting your router may be all that is needed.
Important note about your router To avoid problems with your FiOS TV service, make sure your router is plugged in and turned on at all times. Even if you are not currently using the Internet, your router still needs be turned on so that FiOS TV can function properly.
To manually reset your router:
  1. Unplug the power cord to your Router for 15 seconds and then plug it back into the electrical outlet.
  2. Wait 30 seconds and then check to see if this resolves the trouble. If you still have the problem, follow the steps below to reset your Set-Top Box.
To manually reset your Set-Top Box:
  1. Unplug the power cord to your Set-Top Box from the electrical outlet for 15 seconds and then plug it back in.
