Sounds to me like you have spilt a drink or somethink over it or maybe even droped it? you can get a replacment of ebay, but if its still in warrenty then you can send it back, but if its caused by water of a dropping of the item then you might be charged to fix it

I want to reset the Nintendogs, BUT on a DS Lite, it says to hold down A, B, X, Y, AND left and right buttons, but there are no left and right buttons, just the cross for left, right, up, down. Is it not...

What it actually means is the left and right shoulder buttons, the ones actually on top of the console either side of the game slot, not the actual left and right buttons on the D-pad.

When you say there are no left and right buttons I am hoping you dont mean the shoulder buttons are missing or broken but I am pretty sure that would not be the case.

I have reset my kids nintendogs many times using this method so I can assure you it does work.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa

Nintendo DS Lite directional pad sticking

take out batt and use rubbing alcohol to clean the sensor and the panel located below, you can also pop off the cap to make this eaiser, then replace cap and rotate the joystick in at every angle possible several times over make sure to use rubbing alch. so that it will dry faster DO NOT TURN THE DS ON WHILE WET i would let it sit upside down over night to prevent a short out!

Nintendo DS Lite won't turn on

My kids did the same thing. What I did to get it to work was to push back on the top and hold it turn it on. If it comes on then turns off after you let it go get 2 rubber bands and put the 1st. one on the top left down to the bottom right. The 2nd. one goes from the top right right to the bottom left. Then keep turning it on while moving the top to find the sweet spot.

DS Lite Touch Screen does not respond to touch

on the top right hand side of the screen just under the front there are four or five contact pads this is where the touch screen get the info from the touch screen to the ds itself if you have taken the ds apart maybe the pads are slightly out of line this can be fixed by applying light pressure to the pads to make them stick down and get a proper contact
