I have a dell c610

The mother bord went bad and i need to get info off of my harddrive can i do this some how with my desktop pc is it psobli to hook up my laptop hard drive to my pc desktop some how.

YES YOU NEED A USB TO IDE ADAPTER ABOUT £5 ON EBAY. TAKE THE HDD OUT OF LAPTOP ONE SCREW ON LEFT SIDE BOTT HOLDING HDD IN. PULL THE HDD OUT TAKE THE DELL ADAPTER OFF HDD FIT THE USB TO IDE ADAPTER AND CONNECT TO A COMPUTER

I put another cd drive in my comuter and i need help its hooked up right but when i put a disk in it dosent respond and my mother bord is a g33mo2 so my friend told me to fing a mannuel and read pdf file...


Has your computer detected the drive?
Go to your device manager and see if it is listed
If not go to control panel then Add Hardware (follow the prompts)

Blue screen of death on desktop went through the prompts still end with the bsod

Fans work but pc wont power up


refix ram and reattch all connection to mother bord.
ASlo remove cmos cell for 15 minutes from mother bord
also check smps is working fine

check in bios your harddisk is detected or not.
if your harddisk is not detected then u have open cpu then replug power and data cvable connection to your harddik and mother bord again.
then u can detect harddisk.
it is issue of loos connection betweeen harddisk and motherbord.
check it .

How do I reset the bios default settings?


Hee is the DELL suport website for your model .I am sure the instructons are in the litature to reset the BIOS . It is usually F8 but I did not download and read your manual.

sounds like a mother board replacement,if theres a repair shop in your place,you can ask them if they can replace your DC jack..its hard to replace it since its soldered onto the board..mobo replacement is the fastest way..
