Try the 1-800 number at mitsubishi.com. Screens are not big replacement items and very few if any private vendors carry replacements. You can try Shopjimmy.com, they carry a lot of parts for all kinds of tv's. If they don't carry it, I'm sure they know who does. They offer great customer service.

SOURCE: I need replacement screens for

Sorry u will not find or able to buy the tv LCD screen panel itself any where elese, beside the tvs corporations themselves. They'll sell it to u but they'll charges u the same as a new tv.Because the tvs LCD picture screen panels are 90% important to the tvs and it is very limited in productions by the tvs corporations.

I have a mitsubishi tv model wd 60638 I changed the lamp. Tv works fine for about 20 minutes then I start to smell like something is burning then picture starts to flicker, what could could cause this

You have a bad connector in the lamp. Stop running the TV immediately and contact the company you purchased the lamp from. this is common in older DLP tvs but not in one 5 years old unless you have a lot of hours on it. the connector can crack and arc inside the plug and then melt and smell terrible. It usually very repairable if you can get a ballast for it. the plug is part of the ballast.

Mitsubishi WD-60638 firmware

Make sure software was in top menu in USB stick. Not ib a folder. Try reset buttons on front of TV. Could be bad e2p module. (boot firmware.)

Replaced lamp in my mitsubishi wd 60638 dlp but now I have a flickering picture

Sounds like a new lamp that is generic (not Mitsubishi) as the set does not know which lamp is in the set--works with one and not the other you have found your problem.
