Hi im josh in cebu phils. may i helped you? It simple problem friend. since your motherboard is p4 and it has an avp slot not pci e.You buy AGP graphic card having a higher memory 256 or 512 mb and 128 or 256 bit. so that you will get the the best performance on that p4 board. i suggest to get higher ram and bigger hard disk space and a sound card for maximum performance.Good luck..

Motherboard starts but no signal in the monitor

Hello here is the cpu list:

Other cpu`s than them on the list, does not fit the mainboard.
This will cause the mainboard not to boot up, when the cpu is wrong.
The (wrong) cpu will fit the socket, but it does not fit the cache size, fsb, and so on.

    Look also in the manual:

The problem could also be the power supply failing, try to change that.

Did it boot up before you changed the cpu ???
    Any beep codes ??

    Good luck

Hi Guys, I have Asrock 775VM8 mother board, and want to upgrade the graphic card to ATI 9600 Pro (256 MB). I just wonder if this motherboard can support that card at all. The motherboard clearly says...

Since your motherboard is responsible for the supplying power to your card there is no harm in mounting the video card. As far as i know if the voltage capacity of the video card is lesser than the voltage supply of your board then you should not try it. AGP gets its supply from motherboard so do with PCI slot. You will notice the performance of the video if the supplied power from your board is not sufficient.:D

ASRock Wolfdale1333-D667 and Radeon 5770 graphic card

Actually, one thing. Intel motherboards, like your Wolfdale is an Intel board, they don't work with AMD graphics cards. I've seen this arise many times, the graphics card is AMD and your MOBO/CPU is Intel... that's a red flag in my book automatically. Take it back and try an Intel Graphics card.

Which latest Graphic card can be supported by my Asrock P4i45GV?

Any video card that supports AGP x8 Should work on this motherboard.

For example Nvidia 7800 GS AGP or 7600 GS AGP should work fine.

But a better investment would be to upgrade the motherboard to a PCI-E supporting board and possibly AMD Dual or Triple / quad core processor the ram is very cheap for DDR2 these days.

Upgrade would be best in long run.

Mother board - video card compatibility

if you have a built in video on mother board there is a setting in its setup hit delete at beggining right at startup for bios

you need to disable your built in video either by jumpers by manufactures book on jumper settings or go into bios at begining and see if there a setting to shut off on board video
these 2 are having conflicts with each other and you will only be able to see dos boot area with both these cards

and yes it is compatible as long the buses and slots have same configurations
