Question about Whirlpool GHW9100L Front Load Washer
I have a whirl pool washer GHW 9100 LW2. Had it for 4 yrs. My problem: First I get a SUDS message. Then the washer seems as if its if its going thru a extra cycle to fix the problem as manuel mentioned. During this period there is a unuseal noise coming from a black type unit thats connected to the water drain plug that you can screw out to drain the water from the tub. Its is on the right side of the screw drain plug which is behind the panel underneath the washer door. Then the cycle stops. Water remains in the tube. Then a F02 code pops up and the machine constanly beeps. I have drained the water a few times but never saw any blockage. Just very small strands of debree form clothes.
Please Help. Thanks !! God Bless !!
Sounds as if you may have a problem wiht oyour drain pump"the little black thing onthe side of the drain screw" something might have gotten into it and damaged it causing the noise and now not pumping out effiently. as far aas "suds" this could berelated to your problem , for if soapy water not being drained youlll getthis condition, but i would check your detergent . You NEED to use an HE detergent(HE high efficency spefically designed for front l;oading machines)

Tips for a great answer:
Hello & Welcome to FixYa
F02 is a drain error in your Kenmore washer, if the unit is unable to drain then after 4 minutes it will display suds and then F02. The first thing that should be done is cleaning the drain hose and the drain pump filter, you can take out three torx screws from the bottom front panel and then clean the area completely, lift up the cap to clean the filter. If the error returns then check the drain pump if it is not working then replacing the pump is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
