check in the menu first to see if someone turned the speakers OFF--that is done in some cases if a surround system or a receiver are in use.

Also check to see if sound when a DVD etc is used via rear inputs.

first check the speaker setting in the menu see if the speaker is selected ON. if the speaker is on then check the SAP function of the set. check this with the remote with the MTS button on the remote. keep hitting the button untill the word stereo appears.

Check the speakers, the menu for activation of the correct audio properties and frequency( depending on the siganl transmitted.) If the AV is used and audio is not present then check voltage in the power audio amplifier. Check the preamp and source selectors if the power amp is working. Nott to forget the speakers in the first place.

Are you connected to a Cable box? then make sure cable box is not on MUTE and audio cables are attached.
From MENU check to see that speakers are not disabled on your TV.

Sometimes you have to tell the unit where the audio is coming from. check your menu for audio set up. you should be able to route the audio from an aux input to the hdmi input and plug your audio in there.

Check the tvs settings menu. There should be a HDMI sound option which will fix the delay.

go into the audio menu on tv and dvd player as well make sure you have them set to your specific audio set up

possible audio amp.ic is shorted,please check you set up menu to make sure the speakers are turned on in the audio menu settings.
