Question about Zenith Z52SZ80 TV
Iur t.v. has begun to turn off randomly for no reason in the last week or so. Sometimes it will turn on and stay on for a few hours and sometimes it turns off in ten minutes. We are frustrated and would like to know if you know what it might me. The lamp light will blink red when it turns off and then as soon as the red light stops blinking you can turn it right back on and it runs perfect again but you never know when it is going to turn off.
Shuler's ya please e-mail me at xR1Bulletx@aol.com if you fig out how to fix this, or maybe you want to buy mine and change some parts? haha ill sell it ot ya cheap.
This solution is for the zenith 56" DLP. Unplug the tv, either from the wall socket or the TV. While the TV is unplugged hold the power button on the TV for 40 seconds. This lets the excessive power drain from the TV. If this does not work call 1-800-243-0000. This is the number for their help line. This is the fix the tech gave me and it worked right away. Hope this helps and have a great day.

Same problem, TV runs fine anywhere from 10 Mins to 30 then cuts itself off. After the first shut down the time between shut downs consistently speeds up. Power button hold and fan cleaning techniques didn't work for mine and would love to fix this problem. HELP PLEASE
