Question about Samsung Video Cameras
My Samsung VP-D103i records blurry, but when I switch to Power Night Capture then everything is clear again, so I can only record in this mode.
I'm not sure if my cam corder is the same model as yours but it is a Samsung and it does exactly the same thing as you have mentioned. The normal vision picture is all light and blurry, like it is out of focus, but on the Night Capture mode the picture is perfect, and records perfectly. I have lost my instruction book, so am not sure if I can adjust the focus somehow to record in the normal mode.
Since the camcorder returns to the auto shutter setting and the auto exposure setting when it's switched into Night Capture mode, I would say that might be your problem. Change your shutter and exposure settings. To do this, switch to Camera mode, turn the menu dial to the setting you wish to change then press enter. You may have to play with the settings until you get the desired picture. Remember, faster shutter speeds for faster action (stop action), and longer exposure settings for darker situations. Let me know if you need more help.
