All settings are right. The scanner is connected to the printerport The system.ini setting is right and also the bios is right (EPP 378)
When I use the scanner (twain32) the lamp is moving up and down, so it looks like everything is working well, but nothing appears on the screen, not with the prescan and not with scan.
Not sure if my posting I sent has gone, but I had a similar problem with my umax scanner, which was me not being used to the software. With my software you create a "frame". In this frame what I want to scan appears. I initially either had a frame pointing to the wrong place ie document wasn't on that part of the glass on the scanner, or the frame was tiny and so I didn't capture the picture. (I'm assumig you have a flat bed scanner). Hope this helps
Kevin

This may not be your problem but when I got my umax scanner I had the same problem, it was me not knowing the software. I had to select an area for the scanner to scan I can resize a frame to the correct size that I need. I had the frame set so small that the page appeared totally white

Hi!
Either the scanner is broken (the sensor is disconnected?) or your software is set wrong. Check the brightness, contrast, gamma, etc. settings. Put the gamma at 1 and the other settings at halfway. This should be the default startup settings.
