Question about E-Machines Computers & Internet
I have an emachines n10 notebook, when I turn on the machine the screen is solid white and stays that way. I know it boots because I can here the windows tune.
When I use an extenal monitor, it works until the windows logo appears and then it disconnects from the external monitor. I have checked the connector and wiring to the screen, it is ok and plugged in. Any Ideas ?
I think this is an issue with your desktop settings are your display driver. Reboot the notebook, unplug the external monitor. Press the F8 key when you see the Windows logo screen. It will give you a list of choices. Use the the VGA selection. Windows should be normally. Then go to the control panel and check what drivers are trying to load for your notebook. I would suggest to your E-machine website or if you have the cd to reload your video drivers.
I hope this helps you.
