The part number for this is: 43A24856

Unfortunately, this part is no longer available from RCA parts distributors. Check service shops in your area for parts that they may have in stock.

Hi. If the switch is not mechanically broken, the problem is to be found in oxydation from the contacts. A treatment with contact-cleaner mostly cures the problem.

How do you set the time on a JVC KDG210 radio?

Try the following:
  • Press and hold SEL (select) for just over two seconds until the display shows
  • "DEMO", "CLOCKH", "CLOCKM", etc.
  • Select "CLOCKH" with the '>' button, then adjust the hour needed with the dial surrounding the "SEL" button.
  • Select the "CLOCK M" in the exact same manner.
  • Finish by pressing the "SEL" button.
  • Lastly, the "DISP" button displays the time after cycling through.
Hope this was helpful. Thanks for visiting FixYa.com

Recording

You can only record from the radio or CD player. There's no microphone input on this model. Just insert a tape and press the REC button. If you're recording from the CD, it begins playing when you press the REC button. If you need a copy of the manual you can download it here.

Turning alarm on and off

I'm afraid I don't have a manual, but I could walk you through the steps...

1. Press the clock/sleep/timer button twice.
2. Press enter button.
3. Turn dial to set hour for alarm to start.
4. Press enter button.
5. Turn dial to set minute for alarm to start.
6. Press enter button.
7. Turn dial to set hour for alarm auto-shut off.
8. Press enter button.
9. Turn dial to set minute for alarm auto-shut off.
10. Press enter button.
11. Turn dial to select either Radio or CD alarm setting.
12. Press enter button.
13. Turn dial to adjust volume of alarm.
14. Press enter button.
15. Press standby button. Alarm is set.

I hope this helps! Best of luck finding a manual if you still need one. :)

Pause button is stuck

hi soblessed,

the plastic push lock that holds the button is possibly broken, but hopefully the mechanism incorporated with the button has not been damaged because it was pushed too far.

to have this issue resolved, you may use something pointed to nudge the button from its place and free it from being stuck. Or you may remove the screws from the button, freeing the upper case from the lower case exposing the other side of the controls, so you can push the pause button out.

regards,

voodoo

CD lid

I strongly suggest super glue. Just allow the hinge to move into the opened position without the lid attached and then carefully match up the broken section and allow the glue to dry. Should work just fine. A replacement would not only be nearly impossible to find but would probably cost as much in product and shipping as the unit itself is worth.

Best of luck!
