Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Use the Copy command as described on page 64 of the manual at http://www.general-imaging.com/uploadedFiles/40_Support/User_Manuals/J1456W/j1456w-usermanual-eng.pdf then you can copy the pictures from the card as Chris suggests.

Download photo from camara

First use the Copy command as described on page 64 of the manual at http://www.general-imaging.com/uploadedFiles/40_Support/User_Manuals/J1456W/j1456w-usermanual-eng.pdf to copy the pictures from the camera's internal memory to a memory card. Then take the memory card from the camera and put it into a card reader attached to your computer. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

How do I remove the "Write Protection" on my SD....??? Change the on GE DC 6V...I cannot remove Write protect on Camera

Remove the memory card from your camera and look at it. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

Hello. Remove your SD card and look carefully at the edges of it. you will see a little lock which prevents you from deleting any pictures. Just unlock it and reinsert it. Joe
