Taking the time to select the best type of under water metal detector is important. If you will be hunting in salt water, a Pulse Induction will be your best choice. However, if you do decide on a VLF underwater metal detector, be sure that it has a salt water mode. Bounty Hunter VLF Metal Detector Review Detectorly

Yes, metal detecting under water is actually quite popular. There are a few types; Snorkeling with a metal detector, Scuba detecting and Shipwreck diving.

All of these types require equipment that can be expensive to hire/ buy.

What is the hobby of metal detecting called?

A metal detector is an electronic instrument which detects the presence of metal nearby. Metal detectors are useful for finding metal inclusions hidden within objects, or metal objects buried underground. After every wash I have to center the basket or it will cause leaking while filling up with water for the next wash. Why won't the basket stay centered. This has never happened before. Thanks

Hum sounds like a bad thrust washer on the agitator spindle but that should not effect water overflow? may be wrong and it could be a bad water pressure switch, if it does not detect water level it can allow an overfill? check with a multi meter for continuity. if u mean the basket is leaning in 1 direction to low then u may have bad balance counter weights or the metal has corroded and the drum cannot be held firmly when under pressure.

ENGINE COOLANT LEAK FROM BACK OF ENGINE WHERE IS THE WATER PUMP LOCATED

Hopefully just a water hose or connection leak...some parts of these hoses are now metal, and rust away...these factory metal hoses are dealer, and salvage yard only...Many times you can replace the entire metal line with a rubber line...as long as you can connect to both sides...there is a water hose that runs under the coolant overflow, to the firewall...(many times the culprit)...the water pump on your motor is under a pulley located on the front of your engine...Hope this helps.

We set up our pool filled it and turned on pump for 24 hours then turned on the saltwater system. Immediately tested the copper level with the strip it said 0 so we put system into boost mode and now this...

Metal in the water. When you fill your pool, immediately treat as if you had metal, according to package insructions ... (pump running generally speaking).

I dont know why, it seems metal is sometimes hard to detect ... treat the water anyway. In my area, the stuff costs less than $20.00 which is way cheaper than removing the metal AFTER you find it!
