Question about Brother XL-2230 Mechanical Sewing Machine
I just bought a new XL2230 and I followed the manual on how to sew overlock stitch but no matter how many times I tried on different material I still cannot get the same result as the picture on the manual shows, in fact it's very uneven, and very stretching.... I returned and exchanged for another new machine but still have that issue. Anyone has the same problems and any tips /advice on this?
I also have the same uneven tension on front and bottom stitch like other ppl have, it's very frustrating.
First of all check your needle size and utility, for the tension machine it must be the same on top and bottom example pull the top thread and the lower thread they must be the same.
When sticthing the elastic you must devide the amount of elastic versus the fabric : dise the amount before stiching
Hope this will help
