Is this connected using the VGA connector or the Digital connector?

Was the drivers installed before the card was inserted?

Is there and internal video card on your motherboard that needs to be disabled?

Hi there ok you can try this first turn off the computer unplug the powercord from the computer , remove the monitor cable then open the case, remove the card and ensure that the slot is free of any debris canned air works good for this now now press the card back into the slot firmly and dont forget to put the screw back in if it has one now find the powersupply cable that hooks into the motherboard and unplug it and wait about 10 seconds now press the power on button on the front for 5 seconds this will clear the system now put the connector back into the motherboard and ensure that all of the cables are firmly into place hook up the monitor cable back up and put the power cord back into the computer and turn on the monitor and turn on the computer and see what happnes ok this should help if not let me know there is still things we can check ok best regards mike

I have a E152FP monitor will this work with a graphics card that has a DMS-59 connection

The monitor will work with that video card but the resolution needs to be set to 1024 X 768 or less. Your video card is trying to display the picture at a resolution that the monitor can not handle correctly so you get the video mode error. You will need to use the windows video settings screen to change the settings for that display than you will be good to go.

Dell 1908fpc screen doesnt sow anything just changes colors

Hook a spare monitor to the computer, if picture okay! the Dell monitor LCD panel is defective, cheaper to buy new. But if the symptom is the same it is the video graphics card that is defective in the computer. It would be a good idea to sub the video cord for another to rule it out.

My lcd screen not showing display but its in green led

this may be a problem with your lcd or most likely with your video card.
first rule out the lcd:

the best way to do it is either attempting to connect a known good monitor to your computer and see if that gets you picture, if it does replace the lcd monitor, alternatively move the lcd monitor and connect it to a known good pc to see if you get the lcd to show you something if not, replace the monitor or have it serviced (if you have any warranty left make sure you take it first to where your purchase it for them to take a look at it and replace it if applicable).

if you now know that your lcd still works and is the computer you need to troubleshoot the video controller (video card). now the video card may have gone bad or is just a driver issue.
if it is a driver issue you can try to start your computer into safe mode.
if it works then you need to go online on another machine and look for a new driver for your video card and operating sytem and install it right in safe mode. then restart and see if the issue is corrected.
if you can't go into windows in safemode and there's still no picture you may need to get a new video card for your system.

hope that helps finding a solution.

Dell Monitor Not Working

well if the status of the LEd on the monitor is amber(orange) & the system is running on a on board video card & not a Add-on video card... it is a possibility the the integrated video card ot the mother board might have gone bad... either contact a local tech or the tech support for the computer...

also unplug the monitor cable from the system tower & then if you see that there are the bars moving which say monitor self test on... means tht the problem is with the video card or the mother board...
since the system is running on a integrated video card...

My monitor works with my old computer but not with my new one

Hi,
Does your computer have a video card? If not, have one, and installed the driver. If you have a video card, try the onbaord video, but removed first the video card, before trying the on board.

Vertical lines appear on my lcd monitor

Hi
I am a Dell Certified System Engnieer(DCSE)

you have to be sure if its an issue with the screen or operating system or video card
what you have to do is
turn off your system
now the moment you turn it on again start hitting F2 key
you will get system setup screen
if you see those lines here as well get the LCD replaced and if there are no lines
then try installing the latest drivers
or else you have to get the parts replaced
either the screen or video card
but in case you get display fine in system setup
its for sure your display is fine

Screen size change itself

I think the problem is not your monitor itself . the real problem is your video card, maybe the video card is damage or the video card driver is corrupted. Try to re install the video card driver. In the run type DEVMGMT.MSC hit enter . If the device manager windows open select and double click the DISPLAY ADAPTER delete the video display model and click ACTION, SCAN HARDWARE CHANGES the windows automatic search for the driver and install it but sometime you need to insert the cd driver. If you dont have a video driver with you look in the internet for the model of your video card.

Lock shows on screen

Remove and then reinsert the video card is first step.

Does your motherboard include an onboard graphics card? If so, boot machine with video card removed and look at the system log to check for any error events. You may need to reinstall the drivers if they have become corrupt.
