delete them off the device and re sync them all over i have had the same issue with mine i bought from tigerdirect. if these files are mp3 that should do it. if they are downloaded legally they may have a protection on them that only let them transfer to certain devices. if they are mp3. move those music to a diff folder and start from scratch syncing them over
Here's what you want to do. Use Windows Media Player to re-Rip the CD's in Mp3 format. Go to Windows Media Player 11 --> Rip --> Rip Options --> Format --> Mp3 (you can get to Rip options by moving the mouse over the Rip tab, and a small black arrow will appear - click on the arrow).
Once the songs are in true mp3 format, you can then use the Sync tab in Windows Media Player to transfer the songs.
Unfortunately, many of the newer Philips players do not recognize DRM-encryption, which is why the songs would have worked in one player and not this one.
i think you should check the file type of the music you download. maybe it does not match with the one that should be dowloaded in your mp3 player. but im not that sure. just check for the other answers. try to download some audio or mp3/mp4 converter to convert the one you download with to the one that you want to download on your mp3. like for example. music.mpeg to music.wav or music.mp3, something like that
Just plug the mp3 player in like it was a removable storage device and drag and drop the songs into a folder on the mp3 player. you can delete the songs the same way. You dont have to install the software that comes with the player. I bought my son one and was having the same problems as you guys and this is how I fixed it.
