Re: My blackberry signal receiving bars have turned to...
Does the sim-card work in another phone? If yes, then you should try a software restore with application loader. If that also fails, the only way to get it up and running again is to open yourblackberry to physically replace the anteanna or logic board. If you want somebody else to doit for you go to Blackberry Repair. If you want to do it yourself, here is a Blackberry curve Repair Guide that shows how, the part is available on Ebay.

Can you still make/receive phone calls and send/receive text messaging without pictures? Do you have enough signal strength (3G or 4G bars at top) to get a good signal without roaming? When I was in Greenville a while back, I had problems doing anything other than making/receiving phone calls (no internet, no pix). Ends up, AT&T simply had a very weak signal where I was at. I ended up switching to another phone and carrier that had better support in more areas.
I'd recommend calling AT&T cell phone support to also make sure your data (internet) and messaging (text&pix) plans are still active. Of course, if you can't even make/receive phone calls, you likely have a more basic problem; your phone may have not been validated with AT&T yet.
In either case I'd recommend calling AT&T wireless tech support at 800-331-0500 (type 0 to get a live person) to help troubleshoot the issue with your phone. If you haven't received your phone number yet, you may need to remove the battery to provide them will more detailed info regarding your phone and sim.
Blackberry cell phones offer the user a variety of ways to customize their experience to reflect their own personal preferences. One of the simplest ways is to install a theme that changes the presentation and layout of the user interface. Sending a theme to a Blackberry phone can be achieved in two different, but equally simple, processes.

Make sure your Blackberry phone is connected to the Internet and open the Web browser application. Type the Web address of the site featuring your desired theme in the address bar and click "Enter" to proceed.

Highlight the corresponding link to download the theme. Press the "Menu" key and select the "Download" option from the list.

Click "OK" to begin downloading the theme directly to your Blackberry phone. This may take a few minutes depending on the strength of your wireless Internet connection.

Select the "Options" menu to go to your connectivity settings
Click on the "Bluetooth" option to activate the connection
Choose the "Add Device" option on your BlackBerry Pearl to locate the headset
Wait for a while as your Smartphone locates the Bluetooth headset
Enter 0000 for the password after selecting the headset to complete the Bluetooth pairing process
After that, your Done !!!!you can now send and receive. But after following this instruction and no solution yet, that means there is something wrong with your blue tooth. Corrupted. You will need to reset the phone.
When you send over bluetooth on a blackberry and the handset pairs you need to select the file type you are send and be in the folder to received. Once in that folder you need to click the blackberry key and select received via bluetooth.
you can surf the net on a wifi network even of you dont have a data plan. turn the wifi on then select "set up wifi network" then just follow the instructions to be able to connect to the network. if you still can't after doing this, it might be because the signal of the network is not that strong.
regarding the bluetooth, go to media, then press the menu button (the bb logo), then select "receive via bluetooth" for your bb to receive the file from your laptop/other phones.
