Monster Game PSP Cable to flat screen isn't working

I just bought the Monster Game Cable Component Video Stereo Audio for my PSP cable and I get sound but no video on my 32 flat screen digital TV. Does any one have this problem? The FlatScreen is an RCA, does it matter?

I bought my PSP about three years ago and just now bought the Monster Game Component Video Stereo Audio cable and it does not hook up to it. Is it because it is so old? Do I need a newer PSP? I would rather just return the cable unless I can buy a cheap adapter or something.

You must hold the display button on the PSP which is a square on the bottom next to the music note. You can also go into display settings and do it from there,

I tried to hook my wii to the new hd led flat screen but its black and white I tried doing the yello cable to green but it doesnt work and all the other inputs dont have ac jacks its just hdmi hookups

The yellow cable is RCA component and it sould not be connected to the Green port. Why not get a HDMi cable to make the hook up easier? Component RGB connection requires a RGB cable along with a stereo audio cable where as HDMI requires just one.

Hi Have Vizio Flat Screen and a Denon 3803 receiver. The Tv a Vizio 65 Inch flat screen was here. Out of the wall is a power cord and red, blue, green monster cable. Red and Blue is audio and green video I...

Red, Green and Blue cables together typically denotes a component video signal - an Analog, High Definition transportation for video. This cable does not carry audio, you need another cable to hook up audio between the DVR and receiver. You can use either an RCA stereo cable (red and white), optical-audio, HDMI, or a whole plethora of other audio cables. I would recommend optical or HDMI to get the most out of your system.

Pick out your home theater system components such as game consoles, Blu-ray, surround sound, iPod, satellite and cable receivers, and HDTV from the list below. You'll be taken to a diagram about the cables & connections from your AV component to your home theater. You will see the differences between different cables including HDMI, DVI, S-Video, Digital Coax, and Analog Stereo Audio cables. Monster Cable® helps you understand home theater audio and video.

How do i set up a ps2 to a tv that only has a yellow and white input

It's called a "composite" adapter cable for PS2. The yellow RCA connector is composite video. The white RCA connector is left-audio (usually there's white and red for stereo - left/right)

There should have been a cable that came with your console, but in case you bought it used, here's a picture of what it looks like.

Also, you can buy one aftermarket:

Look around, I wouldn't pay more that $15 for it.

All of a sudden, no sound on PS3, great pic though. Using HDMI cable...have checked all connections, reset PS3, etc. Still no sound! Guy from Sony said my HDMI cable(Monster) could be bad?! No sound, but...

I agree with the guy from Sony, the reason for this is the HDMI cable should support the transfer of audio and video over the same cable, if your only getting video over it, the cable could be defective, or its possible that you have another cable in the spot where speakers should go that is over riding the HDMI.

What exactly is the HDMI cable plugged into? Is it direct from TV to PS3?
If you have a stereo set lying around that supports HDMI - try having it run through that.
Is the TV muted? check if you can get sound while watching normal TV channels.
Worst comes to worst, use RCA Plugs remembering that the composite video is (yellow) and stereo audio is (white and red). You don't need to connect the composite video, but connect the stereo audio.

If this did not solve the problem, please leave a comment and I'll get back to you once I can =)

Using monster

Hi, You will need to go into the menu of the AVR to change a few settings. To get into the menu -
  1. Make sure you are on an input of the TV that is connected to the COMPONENT VIDEO output of the AVR (I imagine you already have this hooked up)
  2. Using the Denon remote that came with the 1907, filp it to the back side and open the door that covers more buttons.
  3. Press the System Setup button
  4. Go into the AUDIO SETUP
  5. Make sure the DIGITAL INPUT ASSIGNED is set to none for the audio input you wish to use for the PS3.
  6. Going back a menu to VIDEO SETUP, make sure that the COMPONENT VIDEO you are using is assigned to the AUDIO INPUT you are using.
That should fix your problem. If you need more clarification or this did not work feel free to post that on this question. Good Luck

No service

  • Make sure that you have connected the cable box properly to the TV.
  • Use the audio and video OUT from the box to the TV IN.
  • Select the correct input on the TV.
  • Connect it using any of the following: A HDMI cable (1 cable for both audio and video), Component Cables (3 RCA's red, green, blue) + RCA audio cables (1 for mono or 2 for stereo), S-Video + RCA audio cables (1 for mono or 2 for stereo), or AV cables - 1 RCA for video (usually marked yellow) + RCA audio cables (1 for mono or 2 for stereo).
  • Consult your TV's owner's manual for detailed instructions or ask me for more information.
Hope this helps. :)
