Try pressing the mute button on the remote control. This control will normally allow you isolate the sound to only the headphone jacks. It may be that it was pushed accidentally and was left that way. If this does not solve your problem you can call the Dynex customer support at this telephone number 1-800-305-2204 between the hours of 7am-12am CST. You can also visit their website at this web address.(http://www.dynexproducts.com/pc-680-23-dynex-32-720p-flat-panel-lcd-hdtv-matte-black.aspx) Just copy the address and paste it into the address bar on your browser. This will take you to the customer support page for you model television and you can use the e-mail function to contact the customer support directly. I hope this information helps you with your problem.

Where inside the tv is the audio card,i have a sony 32s400a,with no sound.

Check first to see if speakers are turned off and also check to see if sound when a DVD etc is connected via the rear audio/video jacks.

Sound is developed first at the tuner of the set and if a LCD that will be on the main board.

My dynex lcd tv keeps saying no signal when cable is plugged in?

It sounds like the CATV portion of the TV tuner is bad--Cable band.

You may have an option---with a cable box that has the audio/video jacks for output of signal on its rear side connect to a unused video input on rear of set--go to that input and change channel via the box---BY PASS THE TUNER IN THE SET THIS WAY.

Manual

If you need a manual GOOGLE the model number with manual.

No sound:
speakers turned off (check set up and audio menus)

audio set to sap or mono

audio circuit problem (put ear to speaker to set if any sound or buzz)

Unlikely but: if audio coming to rear jacks on set from a box--the box could be the issue.

Dynex dx-32l151a11 the picture is black and white with the dvd player

With a Black and White picture it sounds like you're trying to connect the DVD Player's "Composite" connection to the TV's Component Connection.

Composite is a 3 wire system with Yellow for the video, and red and white for the audio. On your TV this connection is located on the side.

Component is a 5 wire system, with Blue, Green & Red for Video, and Red and White for audio. On your TV this connection type is located on the rear panel.

Check to make sure you are hooking the DVD player & the TV to the same input types.

I have succesfully connected my dynex 32" lcd hdtv 720p 60hz to my rogers digital box and my xbox but i only have room to connect my audio cables for my surround sound speakers to my tv cables there is no...

What cables are you using for the XBOX and the digital box? What surround sound system are you using (what receiver)? Which model of Dynex 32" TV do you have? Looking at the DX-L32-10A, I can connect both devices to the TV and then the audio out to the surround sound system.

If HDMI, then that will carry the audio to the TV and then you would need an audio cable from the audio out on the TV to the surround sound speakers. Similarly, if you use component video and the audio cable combination, there are 2 component video jacks and 3 audio-in jacks on the rear of the TV. Then connect another cable from the audio out of the TV to the surround sound system. (This TV has one audio out and a headphone jack.)

If you previously had the audio going from the Rogers digital box directly to the surround sound system, you need to reroute things unless there are two or more sets of audio in jacks on the surround sound system. Some surround sound system can take several HDMI in cables and then route it to the TV on a HDMI out port.

Without more information, I can't be sure of the best option for your cables.

I hope this gets you started and please provide more information for additional suggestions.

No sound

Let verify first to narrow down to where the problem can be. First, check the on screen sound set up menu to make sure the speakers are not set to OFF. If the setting is OK, then attach the powered PC speakers to the Audio Line out RCA jacks to see if you can get the sound there, if you do, then the problem can be in the power amp circuits, if you do not get the sound at RCA jacks, then the problem can be in the sound processor circuit. Please post back what you find
Typical repair for LCD TV is from $150 and up. Dynex is a cheaply made brand.

I plug in headphones, but sound still comes out of TV speakers

This information was found on the Dynex website: (http://www.dynexproducts.com/pc-680-23-dynex-32-720p-flat-panel-lcd-hdtv-matte-black.aspx) in the frequently asked question section on page 7. If the solution below dos not work for you. You can either go to the website by copying the web address and putting it in your address bar. Once there you can use the e-mail function to talk to customer support. You can also use the Dynex customer support telephone number 1-800-305-2204 between the hours of 7am and 12 am CST. Give them the model number of your television and the problem you are having with the use of the headphones. I hope this information helps you solve your problem. How do I get headphones to work with my TV? o Connect the headphone cable to the headphone jack on the side of your TV. o The sound will be heard through both the headphones and on the TV speakers. o Press Mute to hear sound only through the headphones. o Use the volume buttons on the remote to adjust the volume level. o You must remember to press mute again to hear sound through speakers. It will not automatically come on when you unplug the headphones.
