Re: Lost the remote to the Durabrand DVD Model DVD 1002
Durabrand is Walmart's home brand another words they own a company that makes that brand of products so they can sell it all cheaper than any other brand and make more of a profit from it. I could not find the company website so there is no way to order or request a replacement remote. You may have to buy a used one of ebay or buy a new dvd player altogether. I doubt these will work with codes but here you go.
Codes I found that you can try codes listed: 0003, 0171, 0178, 0180, 0463, and 1034, 189, 220
I hope this helps, even if its not the answer you wanted regarding being out of luck on this one.Thank you for stopping by Fixya!. A Fixya rating would be appreciated if I helped with your question.

You can try one of Universal Remote Controls for around $10. which covers all DVD players, TV... brand names (of course your Durabrand included). I found Durabrand's code on my universal remote (3 of them) here, the top one being the most popular: 21023 21127 22164
I wish I had the code, but no. If it is forthcoming then it will be via
a hacker, or someone who gets lucky. I just got an email back from
lenoxx customer service (the guys who made the 1002 ... at least, the
one I have) and they have gone bankrupt: Date:
Tue Jan 1 01:05:58 2008
<Evergo@att.net> Sorry but Lenoxx Customer Service has closed due to bankrupcy.(sic)
too have a remote that no loger works; one of the components snappped
off (past repair) while my wife was simply changing tracks on a cd.
So, come on you hackers, there are people in need and as usual, we have no one else to turn to! firstname.lastname@example.org
