Re: how do i use a song that was bluetoothed to me as a...
As long as you can find it with media finder, click on the tune once then click on options then copy & paste it into your ringtone file. If you can't do it from it's present location have her send it to you again and copy & paste it from the text message. My husband has that cell so I just tried it & I had to do it from the text. Good luck.

Hello, please do you mean putting your own kind of songs.you can collect songs via computers or through bluetooth transfer.if the songs are being transfered you can then follow the steps below to select your own ringtone. 1.visit the files or media section of your phone, you then scroll to the particular song you want to use as your ringtone then you click on option and click on set as ringtone and that will make your phone the way you want. Good luck, Take care.
My Daughter and I have AT&T and we have to send ringtones to each other as multimedia messages. Failing that I would go to the store of my provider and have them clarify this issue for me in exact detail.
I've never received ringtones via bluetooth, but I do know Samsung made it ridiculously hard to customize your ringtones on the Rant. The only way I know of to do it, other than going online on the phone and downloading ringtones there, is to use a site like Myxer to send the songs you want directly to your phone.
First you have to have songs downloaded onto your phone either Bluetooth or wireless web. At the end of the download, the option to use it as a ringtone will usually be given, but if it is not, just go to "downloads" and set from there or "ringtones"(where the pre-set ones are) and set from there.. If I knew more about your device I could (probably) walk you through it.
You may have lot of picture`s stored on your phone and maybe
ringtones have you tried to delete some of your pictures or ringtones that you dont need that should give you more space to
store some of your mp3 songs.
