My HP officejet 9110 all in one say REPLACE YELLOW PRINTHEAD

I haven;t use it much recently. I soaked the printhead in alcohol but still no change. Is there a printhead cleaning program I can run that is already on this model?

Your Yellow is likely dried up. Buy a new cartridge and replace it. OTherwise, no, there is nothing you can do to revive it.

My HP Officejet Pro K8600 won't print black. I have changed the printhead, the cartridge. I have soaked the printhead, I have shaken head. I am getting yellow ink out but no black. I have run every...

Materials needed: New empty syringe (big one) Gloves (to protect your hands fromink) Alcohol Paper tissue (to clean the excessink) Empty Plastic bottle (Here you putthe ink from the syringe) Important: Ensure that you have put new blackink cartridge to K8600. Ensure that the printhead arerecognized by the printer or no light alarms. Instruction: Press the Power button to turn onthe printer. Test print in microsoft excel with4 color black/yellow and cyan/magenta. If black only is missing means youhave clogged problem from the host. Wear your globes, prepare thematerials needed. Open the top cover. Press and hold the Resume buttonuntil the carriage moves to the left. CAUTION: Be careful not to proceed until the carriage is on the left sideof the printer. If the carriage does not move to the left automatically, turnthe printer off and back on and then try holding down the Resume button again. The printhead can be damaged if the carriage is not all the way to the left forinstallation. Lift the printhead latch. Lift the handle of a printhead anduse it to pull the printhead black/yellow out of its slot. Put printhead in thepaper tissue upward. Your printer are still ON becarefull not to touch the flex copper circuit. Get your syringe, use this to pullthe ink from the nozzle cap ( see link picture) After the done the syringe method,Insert the printhead black/yellow into its color-coded slot. Press down firmly on the printheaduntil it snaps into place. Pull the printhead latch all theway forward, and then press down until the latch engages. Close the cover. The printer should align theprintheads automatically in a few minutes, printing an alignment page. Print a test with black color only,If it does not print, try to change the Printhead. Officejet Pro L7650 black/yellow print head problem

There isn't a good fix for this problem. You can try the following;
1. Plug Unit Directly into wall, not thru a powerstrip.
2. Reset the Printer, Unplug Power Supply, Wait 30 Secs. Re-connect. Turn Power Back On.
3. Open Case, Wait for Printheads to move to right. Take Out Offending Printhead. Clean Gold Contacts / Soak Print Nozzles in 1/8" Water, if dried out. shake printhead to loosen stuck nozzles (watch out for flying ink!!). DO NOT PUT PRINTHEAD BACK IN YET!! Close Cover. Wait for printer to say "XXX Printhead is missing" Re-Open Cover, Wait till printheads move to right, Re-Insert Printhead, Close Cover. Reset if Necessary.
4. BTW None of this worked for me. I'm gonna see if anyone I know has one of these printers and swap out parts to see if it is indeed the printhead(s).
5. According to other posts, HP Service will tell you to try all of the above, then when it doesn't work, they tell you your printer is defective. Someone else mentioned a bad firmware problem. If you're out of warranty, your screwed. Another HP Horror Story! Oh My! California wants to elect their old CEO. lol.

Printhead Problem:

Have you tried to replace the black/yellow printhead? This is not the same as the ink cartridges, but it is located in the compartment under and to the right of the scanner lid.
Here is HP's link.

Officejet Pro L7590 printhead message (printheads only 2m. old)!

Pull out the printhead from the computer and check the date under "warranty ends" If the warranty period did not lapse, call HP technical support and tell them about the problem. They will replace the printhead for free. I have gone through 3 black/yellow printheads and I received the replacement printheads via FedEx within 1-2 days. They will send you a pre-paid envelope to return via U.S. Postal Service via US Postal Service.

If the Warranty date on the printhead expired, then you may have to come out of pocket to replace the printhead since HP will argue that they are not obligated to replace the printhead since the manufacturer warranty lapsed.

If this is the case, check to see when you purchased the printer. If the purchase was within a year, the retailer (i.e. Best Buy) is on the hook since there is a 1 year implied warranty on products such as printers, regardless of whether the expiration date on the HP printhead expired.

Hope this helps

HP OfficeJet 9110 Printhead Problem

This is the official way of cleaning HP print heads. I just totally dissasembled my HP 80 print head, and found that on the inside of the print head there was a giant glob of ink that was between the inside of the print head and a metal mesh filter material. You need to remove this glob, can only be done by opening the cartridge. Good luck, tell me what happened.

HP inkjet 1100 not printing yellow

Well if you want to damage your printer use alcohol. But if you want to make it work then pull the cartridge from the printer and run hot water on a couple of paper towels leaving alot of hot water in the towels. Put some thing under them to keep them from staining your counter top and then set the cartridge down onto the hotwater towel and let the hot water melt away the dry ink and in minutes you may be printing again if this is what it is. Be sure and use a dry paper towel to wipe off the ecess wet before you reinstall the cartridge.
