MP3 Player Not Charging!!! (USB)

Hi, my MP3 Player is chargeable via USB but when I plug it into my computer this is what happens-
1st- The MP3 Player turns on but all it shows on the MP3 screen is a computer, an MP3 Player, and "zzzz" coming out of both the MP3 and the Computer on the screen of the MP3 Player. 2nd- A screen pops up on my computer giving me 3 options- 1st option- "Open device to view files using Internet Explorer" 2nd option- "Sync digital media files to this device using windows media player" 3rd option- "Take no action"
At this point, I press Cancel. Shouldnt the MP3 Player be charging now? Its not... take note that when Im charging the MP3 the power is on but Im not doing anything and the same screen is showing- a computer, an MP3 Player, and "zzzz" coming out of both the MP3 and the Computer on the MP3 screen. Ive tried with both the power on and off., WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!?!

I would LOVE IT IF SOMEONE COULD PLEASE HELP!!! :(

The most common cause is a flat battery. There is a trick to charging

the battery in these small mp3 players. It wont charge if it is turned

on, and it won't charges if it's in sleep mode (zzzz). Here what to do...
1. plug the payer into your USB port. or wall charger
2. switch thje player on
3. turn it off by either holding down the play button, or selecting

"System" from the menu
4. The screen will go black and the battery will begin charging.

I plugged my Philips 4GB GoGearVibe mp3 player into my computer to charge but i am not sure if i plugged in all the way. This has happened before where the battery died but came back when my dad charged...

if you are charging via usb make sure you have the computer (if its a laptop) plugged in and if you are using a pc make sure your using one of the usb ports on the back as some usb ports will not carry the 5v needed to charge your player.

Is mp3 player is chargeable ???how to charge

It depends on what type of mp3 player you have. Most now a days come with a USB charger that you can plug into your computer to charge/sync data. If you're looking for something to plug into the wall, visit a local RadioShack or BestBuy and look for a USB Power Outlet.

HI, MY NAME IS ANGELA. I PURCHSED A SANSA MODEL

The Sansa charges via the USB cable. Fully charged, it should be good for 12-15 hours of playing. Be aware that not all computer USB ports put out enough current to charge external devices. If your computer doesn't charge the Sansa, try a different computer. You can also charge the Sansa using other USB charges, such as you'll see for charging cell phones from a wall outlet or a car cigarette lighter.

I charge the MP3 player and it still shows "low battery" message.

There is a trick to charging the battery in these small mp3 players. It won't charge if it is turned on, and it won't charges if it's turned off. Here's what to do...
1. plug the player into your USB port. or wall charger
2. switch the player on using the mechanical switch (on the side)
3. turn it off by either holding down the play button, or selecting "System" from the menu
4. The screen will go black and the battery will begin charging.
That is if the battery is still chargeable after all this time. The battery may well require replacing.

The ipod is showing 'please wait Low battery' and not running

Connect it to your computer via a usb and allow it to charge up, if it is re-chargeable, else change the batteries if they are disposable.

MP3 will not stop charging

It could be the usb cable,so shop around for another usb cable for it, if that doesn't work take it (The mp3 player) back to best buy and tell/show them what happened.
