We have a 4 head hsu 110 vcr. the inputs for the aux cables are not color marked so we're just wondering where the cables go. thanks! peace

The HSU110 doesn't have stereo audio jacks. It has a one audio and video input jack and a similar audio and video output jack. The input jacks are at the top and the outputs are below. The video (using the AV RCA yellow) jacks are on the right of the set of RCA jacks. If you connect this to a TV with stereo audio, pick either the left or right channel on the tv to connect whichever wire you connect to the audio out of the VCR.

The manual for the Mitsubishi HSU110 is available at http://www.managemylife.com/mmh/owner_manuals/25789/MITSUBISHI-VCR-97110132 .

I hope this helps.

No manual or remote

Following the instructions I have been able to program a Philips SRU4105WM/17 universal remote using the first Mitsubishi code from the code list. However, I had to have the universal remote "learn" the vcr/tv button function (I assigned it to the Exit button). Good thing I still have the original Mitsubishi remote:-) I haven't tried having the universal remote learn all the functions, such as Cancel, Counter Reset, Audio Function, Video Function etc. I could see if I'm able to program those, if you'd like. LMK if you have any other questions.

Rca vcr

there a a bunch of different ways. 1) if you don't have a cable box hooked up to this tv,plug the main cable wire into the vcr input then the vcr outout to the tv.2) if you do have a cable box, plug the main cable into the cable box input, then the output to the vcr input, then the vcr output to the tv. put both the tv & vcr on channel 3 for this connection. [ you must have the vcr on channel 3 to record from the cable box!] 3) if you have aux line/video or source inputs on the back of your tv,you can hook up rca cables [ red, white,& yellow ] from the rca outputs on the vcr to the tv inputs.
hope this helps

E2 error

Just had the same E2 come up on my HSU-445. The only thing we could figure out was to try a different tape than the one that was in there when the error came up. That seemed to do the trick. Not sure how long that will work. Good luck.

Durabrand dvd/video combi

There could be at least two ways to hook in your VCR. The common way is to hook your VCR inline (between) the sat box output (RF or antenna) and the TV RF/antenna input. This will allow you to play the VCR/DVD & record whatever channel the sat box is set to. I'm not real familiar with the newer sat boxes, but I assume they output one channel at a time, thus, you can only record that channel. On the older cable or outdoor antenna systems, you could record one channel while watching another. Perhaps some sat boxes have this capability. You might do a Google search with the box Model number to see if an online manual can be found. The other hookup possibility is if your TV set has audio/video inputs & outputs. Hook these to the matching input/output of the VCR/DVD.

You need to change the Audio / Control Head, as well as the Pinch Roller of the machine. A worn out Audio cum Control Head will reflect in poor tracking and so will cause the above problems.
