Re: he2 plus washer shuts off and flashes f 21 or ends...
I'm not by my work computer right now but take off the bottom of the washer (3screws) there should be a tech sheet in there somewhere (usually back of the panel you took off) that will tell you what that code means. I'm not sure if that's a slow drain code or not. Behind that panel is also the drain clean out. It simply screws out like a house one. See if there is anything stuck in there also.

There are 3 screws at the bottom of the cabinet, remove the bottom panel. There is a screwtop cylinder right in the middle. Unscrew it. Problem solved! Give me a rating if I am right. Good luck. Make sure you have a towel!
f-21 is a blocked drain pump.remove the bottom panel,if you have a shop vac get all the water out, you'll see the pump and in the middle there's a piece that you can turn and pull out, first put towels under and around the pump to catch any water that leaks out, turn the part slowly and with your shop vac catch the water with the vac, take your time and open it little by little catching the water with the vac, when you get all the water out twist the middle part out and clean the catch and feel around in the boot and the pump and make sure you have it cleaned out.stick the middle piece back in and start the washer or you can fill it with a gallon of water and put it into a drain cycle and make sure it drains,if it doesn't you cooked the pump and have to replace it,let me know what you find and next time send the model number.
F-21=LONG DRAIN If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes the water valves shut down. After 4 mins the Sd(slow drain) error will be displayed, 4 mins later the F/21 error code will be displayed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL 2 times to clear display
Probable cause/Proceedure Drain hose plugged/kinked unplug washer/disconnect power check electrical connections to pump and make sure pump runs check drain pump filter for strings, sand etc plug in washer If this dont work replace pump.
it stands for longer than normal drain interval, press "pause/cancel" twice to clear, if it returns then look for obstructions in the water drain from the basket all the way to the drain in the house,or possibly it could be a bad washer drain pump
The 5d (or Sd) error code indicate that the control detected a suds lock or overdose of detergent during the drain or spin phases of the cycle. This is usually caused by overuse of detergent. It can also be caused by using regular detergent instead of HE (High Efficiency) detergent. After the excessive suds dissipate, you can normally clear the fault code and then run a drain/spin to finish the load of laundry.
If you detect no excessive suds, this fault code could be caused by a clogged drain system or a failed water level pressure switch. hope this helps....
The F33 error code indicates a pump drive system error. If the pump ohms out correctly & the harness is secure I recommend replacing the CCU (central control unit). Please see the following image provided for instructions.
Pouring water down the drain probably isn't enough to rule out the possibility of a clogged drain pump. You will need to open the bottom panel of the washer and remove the drain pump reservoir to be sure.
If you require additional assistance, please let me know before rating the solution. I hope you find this information helpful.
"F21" is a Long Drain error. This occurs when the drain time exceeds 8 minutes. You will need to remove the bottom panel under the door by removing the two screws at the bottom edge of the panel. First, check the electrical connections to the drain pump and make sure the pump is running. Check the drain pump filter to make sure it is not clogged with debris. This is a very common problem. HINT: Before removing the drain pump filter, pull the drain hoses from the standpipe at the wall and use a shop vac to pull a vacuum on the drain hose to get rid of all residual water from the pump and drain lines. This is also a good way to get rid of minor clogs. If you do not own a shop vac, be prepared to lay down some old towels and soak up some water. There's quite a bit of residual water in the wash tub and lines (this is normal). In addition, check your drain hoses to make sure they are not clogged or kinked. If you check everything and still have the error code, replace the drain pump. Replacement parts can be found at searspartsdirect.com and repairclinic.com. Just type in your model number in the search menu. I hope this helps you. If you require further assistance, please let me know.
