Question about Bulova 96R19 Wrist Watch
I just noticed that when I go to reset my chronograph hand it always resets at the 8 minute mark rather than the 12:00 mark. Is there something I can do to fix this or do I have to have it serviced?
As it had a battery change since it was new? If it uses a Miyota movement, it needs resetting after a battery change to restore the 12 position for the hands. It involves shorting 2 points on the back of the movement (needs back off).

Not a solution to this, but to reply to escapement's clarification request, the watch is indeed a quartz and battery driven
