Question about Kenmore 62602 Electric Dryer
I have the kenmore 90 series dryer and it only runs for 2-3 seconds before it shuts off. I can restart it but it always shuts off after a few seconds. The exhaust vent is clear and the lint screen is also clear. Is it the heat sensor that is shutting it off?
UNplug the dryer, pull it out from the wall, and remove the service panel. Use a flashlight and look around for signs of anything having burned, and smell around to see if you can identify what might be burning if you can not visually see any burning.
If you plug the unit back in while your back there, have someone start the dryer and see if you can see what might be the problem.
I am suspect the motor may be failing, but it's hard to see what's happening through these teeny-tiny little wires.
Reply back what you seeing and we can help you further.
