Re: Need remote instructions for MV13M2
I cannot find a manual anywhere online, typically on the remote there is a menu button. In the menu there will be an option to manually or automatically search for available channels. By selecting this it will go threw all channels 0-100 and save all the channels with broadcasts on them to your settings.

But u still have and pay for the basic cable service wright?Yes,just used the tv remote and push the remote menu button than go into the tv menu,go into Setup enter and go down and pick CABLE not AIR.Enter for the tv do scanning for cables channels. After finish scanning u will get all the basic cable channels.
are three ways you can connect a DVD player to a TV. Component video
gives the best picture quality, but requires 3 cables for the video
signal alone. S-video needs only 1 cable but it isn’t as good as
component video. Composite video is the easiest connection to make, but
gives the lowest picture quality.
Sounds like you need to go to the main menu and run the automatic channel selector again. It will take note note of which channels are not in use and then skip over them when you use the channel advance. Use your remote to get into the main menu and select the "TV" submenu. Then run the auto channel select. After that's done, you can also manually choose to skip channels you don't like. I believe the channel numbers appear in green if they're to be included, and yellow if they're to be skipped. Even if a channel is skipped, you should be able to get to it anytime by punching in the number on your remote.
Can you punch in the channel numbers directly to go to the channels, but just not tune to them with the Channel Up/Down buttons? If so then try tapping the favorite button on the remote until the screen shows "favorite mode off". This mode likes to stay [or perhaps turn] on when you scan for channels, but scanning clears everything in the favorite list except for the channel you are on when you start the scan (so it seems), thus leaving only one or two channels showing up. (This happens whenever I re-scan for digitals.) To pick out favorite channels, go into the channel menu in the tv menu and with "Favorite: Analog" or "Digital" highlighted near the top, hit OK on the remote to toggle favorite status.
Hello to all, go to your TV menu and go to V-chip set up, then go thru and see that you don't have any channels blocked. If you do and you are watching a show with that rating, you will receive the "protected program message".
First you need to check if your set is in the cable mode and not antena mode,if the set is in cable make sure is in the standard cable mode and not another type of cable like HRC,if it is change it and try the autoprogram to set the available channels.I hope it helps.
In the menu theres a channel set up mode. You want to switch from antenna to cable mode, then do an auto search. Then all your cable channels will come in. Your going to need the original remote to go into the correct menu. good Luck
