If this is your router and you are attempting to access the setup screens, go to the DLink website and you can download the manual. I just checked, and there are 3 different manuals, depending on the specific version you are working with.

Ok...
its easy to go to the router screen...
in you computer go ahead and click on start and then click on run, type in cmd and hit enter,
a black box will appear in that box type in ipconfig and hit enter, you will get a list of result,
from those result check the default gateway the default being 192.168.0.1,but it might be different
according to the connection and the setup, once you get this, close the box and double click on the internet explorer,
go ahead and type the default gateway in the address box without http or www, once you hit enter it will tell you to put in the user name and password the generic username is admin and the password blank.
once you hit enter you will be able to login to the router page and change the settings, you will see different tabs
what i can suggest you is before you go ahead and make any changes make sure that you know what you are doing as it might interrupt you internet settings and the internet might be lost...
the screen would look like this here is an attachment below..just check it and also what you can go is go to dlink website and download the manual so that you can get an idea about the different tabs and where you can go to change a particular setting...
http://support.dlink.com/downloads/ = this is the link what you need to do is to put the model number of the dlink router and it will take you to the page where you can go ahead and download the manual..

I have lost my disk and need to program a password, due to nieghbours using my wireless. How do I do this

Hi evan,

Basically you don't need a CD if you want to change the password or put a password on the network all you need to do is to access the Wireless Settings Page of the Router and put or change the Network Key. To access your router you need a working computer connected to the router then open a Browser then type 192.168.0.1. the Username is admin and the password is blank. Go the the Wireless Settings Page and under Wireless Security Mode you can change the Security Mode to either WEP, WPA or WPA2 then input your desired password.

Rate me if this helps so i can help others.

Thanks for using Fixya.

Hi, I just want to know why you want to chnage the NAT type of your router?

My suggestion is instead of changing the NAT type of your router, just open a port. or enable the DMZ on the router.

My WBR-1310 doesn't do wireless to my laptop.

theres a couple of version of this router http://www.dlink.com/products/default.aspx?pid=WBR-1310&tab=3 I'm using the manual from here http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=WBR-1310&rev=WBR-1310
on a working PC download and install this program http://www.xirrus.com/library/wifitools.php this will detect all the wireless signals being broadcast - see if the router is actually broadcasting - if it is detected on your PC then it may be that 1) the firewall is blocking access or 2) the security code is entered wrong - -log into the router and remove the wireless security and see if you can now detect

you should be able to loginto the router and setup the wireless - if you are not able to login - you may need to do a factory reset and then login using the default settings and reset up
a useful tool for detecting wireless networks is this http://www.xirrus.com/library/wifitools.php you can use this on the PC to see if the wireless is broadcasting, if you can detect it on the PC
